I watched "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe" again yesterday and bits of it today cause for our module assignment we have to create a new experience for Disneyland and we chose a Narnia 3D ride. TORTURE haha.

I wonder if the movie will be like the book. They usually stray away from the books but LWW seemed to be pretty accurate, from what I remembered about the book.

I remembered ALOT from LWW because we studied alot of it in grade four. We read the book, we saw the play, --it was cool by the way-- and watched a much older version of the movie. Haha. I was 8 at the time and I remember getting so scared when the witch was about to stab Aslan. :lol: I had to leave the room.

I was on eBay yesterday and came across a Monopoly game ...that's Narnia edition! I think it said it comes out today. The picture on the box was a PC promo. It looked really good!

I'm a huge Monopoly fan and already own at least ten versions of the game. haha. I'm definitely picking this one up soon!

It's so cool seeing the excitement over Prince Caspian. I just read all the books about a year or so ago it seems. They were great It was quite an experience reading them all back to back like that. I never had occasion to read them when I was young. It wasn't long after I read the last book that the first movie came out. I thought that was a strange coincidence that I picked them up at such an opportune time. I didn't know PC was coming out so soon until I came to this forum. I've only seen a TV commercial maybe twice and didn't even see the whole commercial. I have the first movie now and am very anxious for PC.

I know its hard when you get attached to the characters.. but the movies follow the books so we get new characters that we will hopefully love as much if not more than the old ones. So, I got to see Prince Caspian last night and I absolutely loved it! I know you guys will too!! (Especially with all the Edmund and Peter fans in here!!) They both did a really great job. All the kids have grown up and really step-up in their roles as Kings and Queens. Especially, Peter who takes his role as the leader very seriously. And as a girl who hates blood and gore I actually really liked the battle scenes because they were exciting and impressive without being gross and unnecessarily graphic. The movie was also really funny which surprised me BUT I loved it. Edmund has a larger role in this movie and he played a large part in the humor being the sarcastic (yet supportive!) younger brother. I really think Ben Barnes did really great showing how he respected Peter as High King but still wanted to do what was best. Lucy was adorable and a total scene stealer and all the new characters were lovable and funny at the same time. Go see it this weekend!

My faves were probably Reepicheep and Trumpkin...I thought Reepicheep was too cute! and Trumpkin was hilarious and stole many of the scenes with his one liners..

My jaw was on the floor when Peter and Caspian started yelling at each other. I don't know why, but that was just an amazing scene. William was mad good there!

I know!! I really enjoyed both Lucy and Susan. Susan totally kicked butt throughout the movie fighting alongside the guys. I like that she was important and wasn't hiding out somewhere but was instead helping to win the battle. I also thought it was awesome that she wasn't chasing after Prince Caspian the whole time. I liked the flirting between them but am glad it ended how it did. Susan obviously had the control in that situation and it was awesome!

The movie was very good..planning to see it again tomorrow...But the theme is darker than the first movie. Well anyways, it was still very very good. Loved the Pevensies

The only thing that bugged me about the movie was the added romance...There's no romance in Narnia.

But as for the romance, I think it added more to the story. I've read it explained that it only makes sense that two good looking teenagers around the same age would have some sort of attraction which is true.. If I were Susan, I would definitely have been flirting with Caspian..
But at the same time, it didn't take away the focus from the main story. The whole time you were focused on The Pevensies and Narnians defeating the Telamarines not the romance...not really a big deal

^ Exactly. They were slightly flirty with each other but it never once took your attention away from the bigger story going on. They did an amazing job putting that story line in there without 'ruinning' anything, I think.
