So about time for a thread for one of the only married couples on the island. I love this couple. Ok, they don't get much screentime but they have come a long way. Jin used to be reckless, really quite a horrible husband but i believe in coming to the island they couple have grown closer. I can't believe Jin dies but i assume its after they get off the island. Hope so anyway! Jin speaking english has been a gradual process and its so sweet how he has grown from someone who refused to speak english or learn the language to someone who is getting quite fluent.

I think they're my favorite couple in Lost. As you said, they don't usually get much screentime, but even so their scenes are always interesting and sweet.
And I love how much both of the growed throughout the seasons. Jin at first was kind of rude and bitter. He didn't treat Sun the right way. And Sun probably didn't appreciate what Jin did for her, because she didn't know about what her father made Jin do. But the island brought them closer and made them see how important the other was.
Jin learning english was the most perfect thing ever. I loved when he randomly came to her and said something in english.

I was attempting to do some banners yesterday but I didn't have time, so I'll continue when I can and if they turn out ok we can use them as a header until we get some stunning one :lol:

I really hate that he died. They were this perfect couple and now... :crying:

Heh dani I was sitting here at college bored and thought we dont have a Jun thread! hehe :)

Jin was a HORRIBLE HUSBAND. He was rude, he criticsed sun and he always told her what to do . the first time sun stood up to him i was so happy for her, no woman should have to go through that! But as he relaxed, people thought of him more as a friend and hes really become a new man.

I was gonna to make some art when i get home but if you have some we can use it! The more art the better! Then we'll think of songs, reasons etc!

When hurley was with sun in the future and he said "is this it?" I was already suspecting that jin died. I like that the revealation was gradual and a bit of a mystery. Gosh first aaron now jin! :(

Yeah at first Jin was a horrible husband. I think it was because of the 'job" he had. He took the job so he could be good enough for Sun. He always felt inferior because of his birth, which in my opinion he shouldn't. His father seemed to be a great person, he shouldn't feel ashamed just because he had humble origins. But he did. And by taking that job he might as well have sold his soul. He had to do all those horrible things and he couldn't tell Sun. So I think somewhere along that path he became this cold and bitter man.

The island was good to them because they had to work on their marriage. And he became such a wonderful person that sometimes I find it hard to realize he's the same guy.

Added everyone! Im so glad there are so many fans :) Ive changed the first post now it looks uber pretty! But i need some song suggestions if you guys have any and artwork? I'll be on it, after i finish this assignment that is due in tomorrow! eek lol

Jinglish? I like it! Ive always found Jin to be an interesting case, and we've really seen him grow as a person which i like! :) And i agree he only did that job for Sun but hes made some bad choices as they all have.

Why thank you Mich! I tried to make each header different, because i always seem to use the same header :lol:

Songs I really want them to say something about "Ive changed for you" or "i cant live without you" something like that! Im not good with songs though, i can do art LOL

I remember how jealous he was of Michael, and how they were enemies! But then they became friends when they met ana lucia and the gang and now we hate michael again!

I loved when jin gave sun that adorable shar pei puppy! That would win my heart too :heart: I watching the whole truth and sun tells jin she is pregnant and hes like its a miracle! he was so happy and so was I! But of course sun was a little worried as she thought it might be Jae's.

Rewatching "Ji Yeon" I noticed an ERROR. Near the beginning of the episode Kate comes back and sun and jin go over to her. Jin says in PERFECT AMERICAN "What happened?" Im pretty sure his english shouldnt sound american, hes supposed to be learning! LOL how did they miss that out!

Cant blame him, Im chinese but i speak perfect english :shrugs: It must be weird for him, in an american show yet speaking his native korean language.

Now i remembered something i wanted to bring up. In "Meet Kevin Johnson" Michael's flashback he had a korean watch. Im guessing it was Jin's. Because I vaguely remember an episode where had Jin's watch. does this mean he kept it after all that time? did jin actually give it to him? I cant think right now my mind draws a blank LOL

yah when they were on the raft in the finale of season 1, jin gave michael that watch..and he's had it ever since, but now that i think about it..i don't remember him wearing it, in season 2 at all..i'd have to look for it..maybe it was in his pocket
but that bugs me, he gave away a 10,000 watch, to kill himself :(

Yeah theresa I'm pretty sure that was Jin's watch. Jin gave it to him. I remember they had that fight, then Sun told him it was because of the watch he was wearing, that it belonged to Jin or something. And I think Michael went to apologize. I don't remember the exact sequence haha. But I'm almost sure Jin gave Michael the watch for him to keep.

You're Chinese? Wow that's so cool. I didn't know that! I'm brazilian and my english is pretty good compared to other people who don't have english as a native language. I have an accent and all because I don't have a lot of opportunities to practice. I can only practice my written english and my listening haha.

Thanks for clearing that up for me guys. I am stunned that Michael would sell it is it the only worthwhile thing he has? Although I am kinda happy that he cant kill himself because thats what he really wants. And hes done so much crap he deserves whatever is coming to him.

Yeah I'm also glad that he can't get the one thing he wants. He wants to die and try to get rid of all the guilt he feels, but he can't. He now has to deal with all the wrong things he's done and he'll have to live with that for a long time because the island won't let him kill himself.

And what made me even angrier at him selling the watch is that he did it to buy a gun and bullets. I'd have understood it if he was starving, had no job, and selling the watch was his only chance. But to buy a weapon? >.<

And yeah Theresa I speak Portuguese :bgrin:

Why are the Lost forums dead...? Did no one like the finale?

I'm thinking Sun will work so hard to get back to the island, get her revenge, to find out that Jin DID survive. I don't think the boat was THAT far from the island, so when the island "disappeared", Jin could show up wherever it ends up being. I think this is really likely because we know it wasn't JUST the island that "vanished". It was BOTH islands, and assuming the Looking Glass station. Does anyone remember how far the Looking Glass Station was?

I kind of liked the finale. It was an average episode for me.

Sun really does seem like she's going to try and get her revenge.

It was heartbreaking to see her screaming for Jin. I really have no idea if he's alive or if he really died in the explosion. I really hope he didn't. After everything, after running up and almost reaching the helicopter...I can't believe he'd die like that.

I also really want to know what's the connection between Sun's father and Charles Widmore. Charles seemed to know her dad very well from what he said. So I believe her dad might know something about the island.

I loved the finale but that whole scene of Jin rushing to the helicopter, Sun screaming, the others telling her hes gone...it was heartbreaking. Jin may have survived, we dont know, but it was awful what happened. :(

Didn't Charles mention he plays GOLF with Sun's dad? Fricking GOLF! They obviously do business. But what? And honestly--- maybe I missed something, but what has made both Sun's dad, and Widmore so wealthy?

You know why Jin's alive? Because we don't see main characters die OFF SCREEN. We see them die, have confirmation. With Charlie, we basically knew he was dead. I wanted to naively believe that he survived, but THIS is different. My explianation, with the explosion pushing Jin OUTWARDS makes complete sense. Not that I've ever seen a real explosion up close, but doesn't the air, rather than fire BURST out? That's how other people seem to survive anyway. So whether Daniel finds Jin tredding water along, it doesn't really matter.... But I'm thinking where the island is, Jin is, and that's where Daniel will be too.

I mean, I don't anyone to get their hopes TOO high, but it all seems very possible! Also, that explosion looked pretty big, it could have blasted him out, and where Sun was actually looking (the explosion) isn't where Jin ended up. And when there's so much in the water, other people, pieces of wood, from that height maybe she wouldn't have seen him. Then FLASH, and he's TAKEN anyway.

Jin CAN'T die. It would be the rawest deal EVER. I mean they finally got it TOGETHER. Sun almost walked out on him, they came to the island, and "rekindled" their love! And with Sun pregnant, I can take that he didn't make it off the island, that I can deal with, but he HAS to be alive. Hopefully he's a very good swimmer! :) All that time that Sun was crying, and screaming, I bet Jin was shouting and waving his hands from a different area (in the water), because she was making such a fuss over the explosion, she couldn't hear any other noise either. He was thrashing around, and no one notices him. So, Sun seeks revenge believing that Jin is dead. BUT she'll learn he's still alive. But I wonder at what point? I wonder if when she's talking to her dad about bringing him down, at that point she thinks Jin is dead, but when she talks to Widmore later, she knows he's still alive, somehow, and feels she must team up with him to find Jin?

I SO think she's conning Widmore though. Sun kicks ass! :)
