So how did you feel about the scene Lauren? Good? Bad? Okay?

I'm planning on doing a double podcast commentary over the weekend since my other one didn't save and I still can't type, but my quick thoughts would be that it felt like PH it really did to me, and in a way it brought back a little of what I enjoyed during s2, which is shy Haley wanting to expand and grow as a person through music and Peyton encouraging that dream. And PH having a good time is utterly and completley different from BP, in that they aren't overly showy - they just have to be - and they're happiness comes naturally - that's another thing I enjoyed was that when they laughed or smiled it wasn't a forced thing, but something that obviously flowed.

I guess the onlynegative thing I can pick on ( and it really isn't all that negative - it just shows how NOT BP they are) is that thier compliments to one another mean the world to each other ( as noted by Peyton in the scene) and all in good fun, Haley says the compliment because she wants a favor done...in reality this wouldn't bother me, but because of the whole wedding ordeal it kinda does...and maybe she just did that because she didn't want to have that conversation, but instead a favor done, none the less I think she could have given the compliment without it being a segway into her favor.

That wasn't exactly short, but yeah lol

I just finished watching (slow, slow download) and i'm staying with friends that don't know about my OTH obsession and i was sitting in their spareroom when Hales wandered into Peyton's office and i'm yelling "SCENE! SCENE! AN ACTUAL SCENE!" only to have them like run in to check i was ok.... but other than that moment of fright when the door banged open i really enjoyed the PH onscreen time, and i liked that they both went together to see brooke and the expressins they shared like "oh goodness, back on the brooke-rollercoaster again" after the phone call were so PH i kjust sat there all giddy watching... it really doesn't take much to make me happy these days.

But it was the easy back-and-forth banter between them again, a little humour mixed in with their passions and it brings them together, that's what i love and there was some of that magic in the scene. And could i be any happier that hales is singing again? nope!

Aw that cap! Pure love. I actually watched that scene, I really loved the simplicity of it. :love:

PH scenes are simple to begin with, but that scene with the hug was just so emotional with so little words - it just was amazing like you said - the simplicity seemed louder almost than most of their other scenes....

I read this LPNH fic once and the only thing I liked in it was PH. They were so cute, Nate and Luke were kinda annoying in it. :lol: But Peyton was all rawr to Nate about being mean to Haley and PH were super close in it. Wish I could find that fic again since they were adorable in it and I need to read some cute!PH stuff again.
