And I think Vanessa has the potential of bringing out the best in him. Because she's really different from those rich girls. She doesn't have that stupid need of fitting in. She is just herself and is not ashamed of it.

I agree Mai. That's how I see Vanessa. Uncomplicated. She's a strong, confident girl. And very diffeent from the girls he's used to. So I really think she can do him good.
And the same goes for her. He already encouraged her in the last episode, so I can see both helping each other out a lot :D

I actually liked the organic feel I got from these two, where nothing seemed forced. Then, they broke them up suddenly! The hell was that about?!

It seems to me that the writing team hadn't really thought out the story for those two, otherwise why put them together just to blow their romance to hell so quickly? Considering how they're the one couple that wasn't totally shoved in our faces, like D/S and C/B, I think it sucks that the writers shut them down so suddenly. They had a natural and authentic feel, IMO.

I think so too. Although it was kind of unexpected, it didn't feel forced at all to me, and that's what made me like them so much. With some other couples I just feel like the writers are trying too hard, but with Nate and Vanessa it didn't feel that way. I was just really disappointed at how they ended things so suddenly. Makes it seem that the writers use their relationship just to "fill-in" some space in the show. I really hope that's not the case.

So yeah i'm still routing for this couple, even though nate basically stopped their chances at getting back together because she was trying to protect him and by kissing jenny! ugh. i'm hoping there will be a reunion and that this messy Jenny/Nate/Vanessa triangle won't last forever.
