LIZZIE McGUIRE actress LALAINE VERGARA PARAS is currently enrolled in a drug abuse program after a secret arrest and conviction for possession of crystal methamphetamine.
The 20-year-old, who played Miranda Sanchez - the best friend of Hilary Duff's Lizzie McGuire - was arrested in Los Angeles in July 2007 and charged with felony possession of the narcotic.
She eventually pleaded guilty in February (08), after initially missing a court appearance, and having a $50,000 (GBP25,000) warrant issued for her arrest.
Paras' record will be erased once she has completed a course at the Asian American Drug Abuse Program.
