Band Bio:

Stanfour may not yet be a household name in the United States, however in Germany and all across Europe, they are superstars, and their status in the states is on the brink of a vast change.

The self-started band started five years ago on an island in Germany with four guys, and one big dream. In fact, their 13-song debut album "Wild Life," released on Universal Music [Germany] in early 2008, and created in the band's own studios. Between a tiny German island in the northern sea, Stockholm Sweden, Los Angeles, California, the three vastly different locations influenced the final sound of the album, making it unique among the sea of rock albums to be released in the music scene today.

"Wild Life" quickly became a labor of love, passion, and ambition for the quartet, and the finished product is packed with radio hit after hit. With fresh sounds and loops, big string orchestras, huge melodies, and passionate lyrics, Stanfour presents listeners with soundscapes of varied music, with no song sounding alike, yet staying within the boundaries of an engaging rock sound. With lyrics reflecting the diverse emotions you have for someone you love-- or you used to love, and delving into the core essence of partnerships, friends, family, and heartache, "Wild Life" takes listeners from all over the world and places them in an experience that they can identify with and embrace.

Stanfour has quite an impressive tour resume. The foursome have toured with the Backstreet Boys, John Fogerty (Creedance Clearwater Revival) and played shows with Daughtry, One Republic and have a show coming up with Bryan Adams. In addition to the heavy hitters they've performed with, Stanfour has had some powerful players in the music industry working on this project. Writers Max Martin [Pink, James Blunt], Lindy Robbins , Jess Cates [Backstreet Boys], Ryan Tedder [Singer, OneRepublic], and Desmond Child [Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Kiss] all contributed to the album, with Randy Staub [Nickelback, Metallica] mixing the final product and Martin Hansen [The Rasmus] producing. Stanfour executive produced the entire album on their own, while producing the song "Heart Skipped a Beat" and engineering and editing most of the songs on their own as well.

Their first single to hit European radio in 2007 was entitled "Do It All," and set the stage for what was to come with the release of their album. By the time their second single "For All Lovers" dropped, the band was a smash success. "For All Lovers" took the European radio industry by storm, quickly becoming a top 20 single, and allowing the band to win "Newcomer Summer 2007" (Teen Magazine, Germany) and BR3 Newcomer of the Month (top German radio station). College radio stations in the United States caught wind of Stanfour's powerful catchy rock music, and were instantly hooked as well. The US was calling for them, and Stanfour is now here, ready to answer.

Pianist Alex Rethwisch says, "The last four years have been a very emotional time for us, and at the same time, extremely exciting. It has all helped up to develop our own sound. Our experiences have definitely bee reflected in our music."

Their genre of music jumps global boundaries, and these four men from the small island in Germany, have come together to dominate the US rock genre
of music.
