He's in Greek... and he just has that Ian feel to me. But I've seen other Ian suggestions and they were so far away from this guy, so maybe it's just me. :lol:

The part I have in my signature, when he cries trying to bring Mel back inside Wanda's head.. I was SHAKING.

You know what? The only downfall I would say about this book is the way Stephenie described the characters. I didn't think she gave enough detail.. like in Twilight she described all of them perfectly. This one, was kind of left up to imagination.. right? or am i crazy?

Will there be a sequel to The Host?
This is one of those "probably" questions. It's funny, because I have been working so much on my other stories, and I have been editing forever and just thinking in the Forks world. That's where I have been mentally. And so in this last couple weeks of answering Host questions and going through the book again and again, I am starting to get excited again about the sequels, which is kind of cool. I have outlines and the prologue written for the second one, and the epilogue written to the third. So I have got the frame. And I imagine I will get to that. It might take me a while, so I don't want to make any guarantees. As soon as I get done with the summer, what I want to do is just take a year and write again. No publicity, none of that for a whole year. Which sounds like an incredibly luxury in its self, so we will see which books come out of that time.

I read audio books for audible.com, and had an audition for Hachette's audio version of this book..so I have read some of it ,and found it really cool.

Im not much of a scifi girl, but i cant wait to read beyond the few pages I had for the audition.:)

I love Jamie. :) He was always one of my faves. I really liked Wanda too. Their relationship was very sweet. It feels wrong to like Kyle now after the beginning. :lol:

I finally picked up The Host & read it last weekend. After a painfully slow start....it turned into a really great book. I have to admit that the slowness of the first few chapters, almost made me put it down.

But, I stuck with it & i'm glad I did. Stephenie just has a way of writing her male characters, that you can't help but fall a little (ALOT) in love with them.

I have been trying to get my friend to read it... and she keeps getting stuck in the first chapter. I have to admit it was a bit hard for me to get through too. But after that it's just SO good. So I keep poking her about it.. :lol: Just want her to reeead it!

Yeah, the first couple of chapters are tough. After the dessert shiz it gets really good. I think the turning point for me was when we met Jamie. He's so cute. :)
