omg!! i luv this game! i just can't seem to get enough of it! i think it's still one of the best games ever!!! :happy:

i like the 360 version better of course because you get to download songs which is totally awesome!! :ninja::ninja::headph:

The guitar hero 3:the legends of rock is a nice game ..
The music is also so fantastic.....
I have some downloaded music themes of this game....
I played it just two months ago...I have this game in psp format also...

Seriously, why was there not a GH-related post before? This series as blown up recently! I own II, 80's, and III :D I'm finally working my way up to beating some songs on Hard, but I still mostly play on Medium to have fun.

Oh I love playing guitar hero! It's embarrassing when I mess up but I feel so proud when I can pull off something hard. I usually play medium but I've found I can play a couple expert songs too! Go figure?

i can play songs on hard most of the time, but i still have a few difficulties w/ it. i guess that's what makes it fun!! :happy:

I love this game too. At first I hated it because I was sooooo bad at it. We just got the Aerosmith version it's what I am listening to in the background .

Haha same I completely sucked at first and was incredibly pissed because my brothers were so good, but then I played more and got as good as them :)

That's what made me play, and play too. Everyone was better than me and would wanna play against me because I sucked so bad. I had to get better just so I could show them, it was a pride thing. Mine was wounded and I had to learn.

Lol, I think mine was a little bit of pride too. I would sneak into the room and play when they weren't home :hehe: Atleast I'm much better now.

DUDE! How much do you love those battles? I love them so much, playing Tom MOrello, Slash, and whoever the hell that last person is makes it for me. My friends and I were playing and I was like, "Dude, I wish there was another battle.." and BAM, a battle started I was so super excited it was a little sad. haha!

I would do it late at night when everyone was asleep and turn it down really low. I don't want them to hear it and get up to make fun f me .

I love the battles. They are so much fun. It makes the game more interesting too.

him or one of his friends can beat through the fire and flames on expert!

Jeez, that's crazy. I feel like I'm going to break the guitar when I play on expert, way, way, way too fast.

i mean, it's like a challenge for me which makes the game a lot funner!

You will. Part of it is just building up speed, and another is just knowing the songs better so you know the best hand positions (if you're playing at Hard/Expert). Just keep cluckin!!

No. I've played the real guitar for a few years now, and it didn't translate to GH. I have a friend who's never played the real thing but we are pretty much evenly skilled at the game.

i always thought that if u were good at the *real* guitar, that you would be REALLY good at GH.....

This is the prefect party game IMO. It's so much fun to sit around with friends and just jam out to songs. Or going head to head, but that usually gets heated, haha.

Yeah, it's part of the revolution of games becoming more socially acceptable, like Wii Sports or Rock Band.

Yup yup, I just heard that Konami got into the game with Rock Revolution last week. They're pretty much innovators into the music gaming revolution so should be familiar with the controls.

why haven't I seen this thread before? ah well...I have GH 2, 3, Aerosmith, and Rock Band for the 360. I also have World Tour Preordered. I can't wait to play it! My fave songs for GH3 though are a lot of downloads like Pretty Handsome Awkward, No More Sorrow, and some others that I can't remember because I haven't played this one in a while. But I love these games! They keep boyfriend and I occupied for hours.

Yeah I plan on getting it too, unfortunately I'll probably have to wait until one of my friends gets it for me for Christmas. Until then I'll probably be playing around with the Rock Revolution drums that comes out next month.

I'm SO excited about GH WT, it has 2 of my Favourite bands! And more from bands I love, plus it will have dowload capabilities for the wii SQUEE! :D
