Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass come from the same social circles and appear to have known each other
from a very young age. Blair's current boyfriend, Nate Archibald is also Chuck's best friend, throwing the two even
closer in the same clique.

In the first two episodes Blair doesn't appear to have any of the hostile feelings towards Chuck which many
others do, and in fact the pair are shown to be having a good time in each others company. In their brief
scenes together they appear to share a chemistry like no other (at least we think so) and this can only spell
good things for their future.

Their story may have only just begun, but we're sure its going to be a fun ride.

I think it's good that they're not together, they are dragging it out to give us some amazing all tiem scenes! i mean their banter is fun when they're not together, they makes such a great couple and I think its alot to do with the chase. I mean the sexual tension was evident and they both knew it, yet both act strong. Gotta love them :heart:

This is my first post besides introducing myself in the new members section. I just wanted to say I agree. I love Chuck and Blair together and I think the chase will make for better scenes instead of just throwing them together.
I think it will be better next season since they won't have to worry about hurting Nate and when they finally are a couple they won't have to hide it. Just my opinion. Anyone else agree?

Critics and parents may be seeing red over the latest round of racy Gossip Girl ads, but the show’s stars don’t mind at all.

“We just end up seeing it on a billboard somewhere,” Leighton Meester told Access Hollywood at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday. “But I think that it’s smart and it’s fine and it’s cool.”

The ad campaign, which launched last April when the show came back from hiatus, has continued into the summer with irreverent print ads featuring racy scenes from the coming season and negative critic reviews of the CW show — used to promote its drama.

“They’re very smart,” said Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald on the show. “Everybody keeps saying they’re so racy, of course they’re racy, but you say they’re smart.”

Smart, maybe. Controversial, definitely. And the show has no plans to stop with its headline-grabbing antics, including some new rhetoric being introduced on the show.

“There’s a lot more [language],” Meester said. “I say Bass-hole, I say something else, but it’s all Chuck Bass-related.”

For his part, Ed Westwick, who won Favorite TV Villain at the awards for his naughty portrayal of Bass on the show, is a huge fan of the ad campaign.
