Ok guys, I was just wondering what you all thought about Nasville Star. I know at first it just seemed like an American Idol knockoff, but it's grown into something so much more. Also, it doesn't seem to be as much raw talent as American Idol, it seems like actual musicians who are looking for record deals, so I find you get so much talent on a show like this. I watched every episode last season and was very happy when Angela Hacker won. The new season starts on June 9th at 9pm on NBC now (not USA). Are you guys gonna watch? I think it's one of the best contestant shows on TV, and the contestants are actually talented.

Yo boltrocker, I am definitely going to watch! I agree that this show will produce more talent than American Idol. The contestants already seemed experienced and this will be the biggest different between the American Idol and Nashville Star. I'm anticipating the premiere Monday night and the performance by Taylor Swift. She is such a promising artist.

It will be refreshing to have a new set of judges rather than the old Randy, Simon, and Paula trio. Let's get some real judges who know what they are talking about and have acutally been musicians at one time or another.

Tune in Monday night on NBC at 9...I want to know what everyone thinks! It's time to get some real talent back on reality TV!!

Out with the old (American Idol) and in with the new and improved (Nashville Star)!!

I might watch it.....I think it is cool that Miley's Dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, hosts it! I am a huge fan of Miley so I might watch it!
