I just heard Terry Pratchett has Alzheimers disease. He has a book done that comes out in the fall, then he is slowing down to 1 book a year instead of 2. Plus they got him an assistant to help with typing. I love this guy's books - I hope the medication helps.

I just got a call from my sister. She, her daighter and her daughter's friend are now officially Terry Pratchett fans. I lent her all the "witches" books from the Discworld series and they are hooked. My niece said the books remind her of the first Harry Potter book, before everything got so serious. (I think being a real live witch/wizard would be fun!)
