i personally am not involved in the twilight series, let alone the movie. but my daughter is very into it. she's counting down until the movie release and she gets her hands on every book soon as she can. the day the twilight shirt came into hot topic near us, a friend of hers bought it for her. she was so excited about it she changed into it before she even made it home. she loves bella, reminds her of herself. clumsy and embarrassed. with her zoning out of books for years and then suddenly not putting one down, it's a relief to see she hasn't lost her love of reading.

I think that Kristen's physical features match Bella's brilliantly, but like what Robert Pattinson said, her personality is the complete opposite of Bella's and because of that, I'm not very sure that she can pull off the helpless demeanor without looking too headstrong for Bella. Sure, Bella's stubborn, but she's stubborn in a really fruitless way while Kristen actually makes things work the way she wants them to. Her headstrong attitude is not a facade; it works far more effectively than Bella's one does. Despite that, I really hope she makes a good Bella.The chemistry between her and Robert is amazing and I hope it will stand her in good stead as she acts as a Bella to her Edward. =))

Although I don't know if she'll turn out well, go Kristen! Be the Bella that fits the role perfectly. =))

I was skeptical about Kristen as Bella at first - but with all the trailers and tv spots coming out - I think she's going to do the role justice.

I know that this is a "i love Kristen" thread but.....

With that being said - I'm really not liking the interviews she's doing. She has an arrogance about her that is really turning me away from her as an actor. Kristen is not as nice as I thought she'd be, but then again, I mustn't judge the actress herself based on the character she plays in the movie. I just seem to assimilate the separate characters into one and just because Kristen plays Bella, I tend to view her as the shy kind of girl that Bella is. Lol. :)
