I agree Dany it did so much for his confidence and it really changed the character of Ron a little and I loved that because everyone comes down on Ron so much, and he really does play such a valuable part in the trio, well I love him anyway.

Oh I totally agree with that sentiment! However, he did get the saves himself, forgive me if I'm remembering wrong but she placed a Confounding Charm on someone else? So it's basically his own merit at least. But I agree SO much that's why I loved the DH scene where he saves Harry a lot.

LMAAAAAAAO. Oclumência said there was a glimpse of Rupert on TV during the Formula 1 qualifying practice this morning. A famous (and annoying) TV host said Rupert was playing "Harry Potter" and some other guy corrected him, saying he was Ron Weasley and that HP is a pretty successful franchise (you don't say!!!). How did I miss that!?!? I often watch Formula 1.

I can't believe nobody managed to record that or that we have no pictures! I hope we actually get some tomorrow for the GP :).

To be fair, from what I read he said that Rupert did HP, which could be interpreted as "plays" HP or just as "is a part of" HP. But there's a reason why Brazilians chant and hold signs with "shut the **** up, Galvão" during important sport events :lol:.

I was reading the comments to see if anybody said something about how he looked or what he was doing and they only thing people came up with was "he looked hot" and serious... and that he smiled when he saw he was being filmed :). I don't even know why I want to see that so much, I just feel like the last time Rupert was seen in public was so long ago.

YAY! Rupert's been cast in a new movie!! :bgrin:

Rupert's agency page was updated today, not only to reflect his role in Cherrybomb, but also his casting in yet another new film entitled Wild Target!

IMDB currently lists the film as being in pre-production and has Bill Nighy and Helena Bonham Carter attached to star. The synopsis is short, but states, " hitman tries to retire but a beautiful thief may change his plans." No word yet on what Rupert's role may be!

Further digging around has revealed that the film will begin shooting this month and locations will include London and the Isle of Man. Wild Target is also being labeled as a comedy/drama (dramady, if you will!), and is based off of a 1993 French film called "Cible Emouvante".

Good news is this also seems to be a big budget film, and should see a fairly wide release! One site has even gone so far as to mention a March 2009 release date, but please note this purely speculation at this point since filming has not even begun.

Sounds AWESOME!! Great cast... So excited! :bgrin:

Despite the chilly weather, we got to chat with Rupert while he waited for some friends. Recent reports about this famous redhead stripping down for his upcoming film "Cherrybomb" had Rupert grinning, "No, actually it was really cool, even though that was a very intense kind of scary moment. After replying to the text message, we found out that Rupert recently lost a bet to actor Robert Pattinson, who was once part of the Harry Potter cast in a previous film, and insisted that Rupert read the bestselling book. Rupert is now "stuck reading 'Twilight'" and that Rob was just texting him to see how far along he was getting.

Rupert admitted he had only read the first five chapters of the bestselling book and we just informed him that there were three more books in the series. "No, really, are you serious? I thought there was just this one book?" Only now realizing he has to read three more, Rupert took his phone out and sent another message to Rob. By the looks of things, we can bet it wasn't a very pleasant message.

Laughing it off, Rupert made a quick exit with two friends down the street and slipped into a bar to finish his night off with some fun.

Rupert Grint will next be seen in the highly anticipated 6th installment, of the Harry Potter blockbuster series, "Half Blood Prince"will be in theaters July 2009.
