Ok maybe I overanlysed this but you know when Ryan said 'except maybe Oliver', well always thought Oliver was the beginning of their problems, it sparked off the trust issue and the triangle and that. Well if Oliver had been differet (meaning R/M would have to evolve earlier than beginning of s3, then they would have learnt to talk and trust each other. Well eveything else wouldnt have really happened, considering the common factor in all these problems was trust primarily, right? so maybe he was hinting he that he would have changed Oliver for them to have 3 ON yearsstead on and off? Am I jut overthinking all this? Oh dear :lol:

t's very eerie, it tell everything really. Every bit of it tells you something i think, like their exprssions, Ryan's hand on her cheek, the colouring. Its amazing how one picture can tell s much :heart:

Yeah, like Ryan said she was the first person he met in Newport, he wanted to be the last to say goodbye...and he wad the last one. I think it was fitting how she died in Ryan's arms. He saved her so many times, like she saved him, and it was the one time he couldtn save her. It was so sad

When I think about it, it's not the actual death that gets to me as much (it gets to me, but it's not the main reason if that made sense lol) it's the way they did it, in which I mean they did the usual hope strategy which I hate! I mean that they give us a sense of false hope, the few episode before we saw R/M communication and evolving which we saw early s3, it was going well, we had hope that our favourate couple would still be able to make it, they weren'#t completely over yet, but then they start off with sendng her away, which we still have hope that she'll return in the year so we're sad but happy if that made sense, then they give us so many R/M lovely moments in the finale and then they kill her off. Now I can see two sides in that they may have given us all these moments so we know that they were still in love with each other, but then it's horrible to do that to fans, loyal fans who watch, you give them false hope only to take it away as quickly.

Yeah, that's what made thaotional for me in particular, because I kept thinking about the moments before and how they would have been together, you could just see them evolving more to the point that they can function mouch better and it all went so quickly. It makes you feel bitter and wonder what the point of watching is when it leads to misery in an aspect.

Exactly, you felt like they jup on R/M and i think they should have done things differently! I didn't like how S/S broke up for an episode then get back together and we wait forever for hope! I thik Seth and summer should have had some drama! Like imagine Summer with volcho instead, like Volchokliking her and Summer becoming like she used to be? I dunno, just something to spice them up and let R/m be happy for a little whiel at least.

Johnny, that's what was like the final straw! They used him as a scapegoat to ruin r/M imo, I mean they could have had him as an innocent friend who does help Marissa, but also helps Ryan/Marissa too. He wasn't neeeded as yet another triangle. Theyw ere successful with the others because Oliver was a psycho (and kinda hot :lol) and Trey was great, Alex rocked, Lindsey was cool till we found out she was Calebs and Luke is awesome, always will be! they should have bought Luke back, or mentioned him at least!

When I first saw season3 finale I was bitter and said Josh had it in for R/M s3, but i dont think it's that now, I think he just lost interest in completing their story like he did with S/S, also Seth is based on him so he'd give himself a happy ending. I think I would have been able to like R/T more had Marissa been alive, just because it's still a hope they'll get together and Taylor was a good character, I think it got to a point for me personally that they shoved it in your face, like Taylro had Marissa's bf, Marissa's room, Marissa's best friends, Marissa family, she had taken Marissa's place for me and I still think s4, Ryan was good with Taylor, btu I can't like them as I used to :/

:lol: I never disliked Taylor (I'm like midcore I guess but a hardcore RM fan still :lol:) but felt resentful more towards her because of how she was pretty mcuh Marissa. I have to say I dont' get why people moan that Ryan said ILY to her so much, because actions spoke louder than words imo and R/M actions were more intense than R/T ILY's in my opinion. I'm glad they didnt make it cheesy, the death scene, and have ILY's, however i would have liked an ILY somwhere in season 3, btu ah well, their chemistry did it much better for me

for me, Ryan and Marissa are the ultimately love story, even though they had downs you could see that they still deeply love each other, they were each others love of their lives, i guess it just hurt to see Ryan with someone else, especially so close to her death :(

I watch their episode recently and it feels like a different show compared to the ending they were given. They were never a cheesy couple I think, they weren't all fluff, they had drama, but there was always that spark and hope that even jkosh had for them. i thik he must have lost that and that's why there was nothing R/M worthy in season 3 (i.e. Johnny) though I know Josh didn't write the episodes, J.J.Phillin (something liek that) did and you could tell they weren't exactly pro R/M. The Shower was their first episode and you could tell she wasnt really for them...

Yeah, everyone' shad that person that seems from a different world, that you just have this connection with and you go through so much together, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. but there's always something. I think taking a part of the main characters away was never a good move, any of them gone would have caused the figures to go down I think, they arte main characters for a reason. I think they should have still kept Marissa and added Taylor and Kaitlin, because I alway sthougth Taylor was a good character, I just didnt like hwo they pretty much made her the replacement, it kinda took her as a person away I think.

I watch their episode recently and it feels like a different show compared to the ending they were given. They were never a cheesy couple I think, they weren't all fluff, they had drama, but there was always that spark and hope that even jkosh had for them. i thik he must have lost that and that's why there was nothing R/M worthy in season 3 (i.e. Johnny) though I know Josh didn't write the episodes, J.J.Phillin (something liek that) did and you could tell they weren't exactly pro R/M. The Shower was their first episode and you could tell she wasnt really for them...

i love them. i dont care if they broke up a million times, or had to much drama. the times they were together were sooo cute and ben and mischa had so much chemistry!
alot of people say they had nothing in season 3...but the little moments they did have were great to me....although i still hate how she died and they werent 'together' if you know what i mean.
some people also say that he was happier without marissa but i think she changed him :) season 4 just wasnt the same...i hated him and taylor.

I watched the Pilot after ages, I still feel like it's the first time Iv'e watched it, though I know what happens, i know word for word, it's just the same feeling I have when I first watched it! It seems so weird.
