Jacob is being played by Taylor Lautner in the movies. :) He's pretty much a newcomer so you probably wouldn't know him from anything.

When I first started I was a fan of Jacob but not the relationship but slowly that changed and now I am a huge Jacob/Bella fan! :D

Taylor was in kid movies like Shark Boy and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Not everyone was happy when he was announced mainly because he looks too young for NM and Eclipse but we have warmed up to him since atleast I have :)

I love Bella/Jake bffs more than relationship, I hope they atleast ends friends.

Well Kinukuniya (this huge bookstore in Sydney) was mean to me. I was just about to walk out of there because they didn't have New Moon - to go to Borders down the road but then I caught a glimpse of the gorgeous guy behind the counter...so I submitted and bought Eclipse so I can say Hi to him.
I'm stupid I know.
BUT since I'm now done with Eclipse I'm going to go back to the bookstore on Thursday to buy New Moon and read it before school holidays ends.

I wasn't sure how I felt about Jacob in the beginning. After I got through most of the books I started to like him more. In "New Moon" where Jacob pretty much brought Bella out of her coma, I was really digging him. Part of me was like "Noo! She must be with Edward!", which I still feel. But Jacob would have been a wonderful alternate. I'm glad the story ended the way it did though. Jacob's a good guy. :P

Well I never liked Jacob with Bella, but I did like Jacob and thought he was hilarious. I'm glad he found someone in BD. I mean it explains his strong connection to Bella. He was meant to fall for her, but not really her, more like what she was going to give him, but neither of them knew that. So it's cool to see that the reason Bella gets more lovey dovey with him in BD is secretly because Renesmee (i hate the name Nessie) is already meant for him and drags Bella to him. That's the same reason he stays even when he can't stand to really be around her once he knows that the baby is hurting her. I just thought it was really interesting and I'm glad he ended up happy. Although I do agree that it will be an awkward conversation when Jacob and Renesmee have to discuss his old love for her mother lol.

I sort of viewed Jacob as a nuisance in Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, though I was torn between Edward and him in New Moon just like Bella was. I just think that he was a jerk in the end and throughout the series, he just seemed really immature and a really big, huge jerk. However, in Breaking Dawn, I was taken aback by the maturity he seemingly gained overnight which I suspect was from the wake-up call Sam gave him when he announced that the pack had to kill Bella in order to prevent the abomination in her belly from being born. It showed me that he wasn't such an irritating guy after all, and that only a little maturity was required to end all the dislike I held for him. I really started to like Jacob a lot when he imprinted on Renesme. It was a really adorable situation to find him in and I liked that because of her, he didn't get too jaded by what had happened to him and instead, returned somewhat to his old self, in which he wasn't irritating and he wasn't a jerk, yet he still had that aura of perpetual cheerfulness around him. =))

Gotta love Jacob when Renesme is around. =))
