I haven't heard anything about a shorter-than-normal series for 2010. I guess it depends on if they can get everyone back together. Hopefully all the actors will be planning their schedules around it.

I wish we were going to have time to visit Cardiff when we're in the UK. I'd really like to go stand there by the "Rift." But we've limited time and it seems a bit of a waste to go all the way to Cardiff just to look at a plaza.

I think it's pretty long odds that we would stumble across shooting if we were able to spend one day in Cardiff. I understand they're starting to shoot next week, and I wouldn't think it would take them three months to shoot five episodes. It would be pretty cool if we did catch them shooting, though.

I'm really hoping we'll see some famous faces in the audience for Hamlet. Maybe some of the folks from Who coming to support Tennant.

I hope so!

Maybe they will make some Torchwood specials too, to tide us over till the next series

The five-episode "mini-series" is supposed to be all we get until 2010. What are they thinking??

I can't blame him for wanting to diversify his career. No actor wants to be typecast or to be so associated with one role he can't get work elsewhere. However, with a team like Torchwood, any one of the actors could slip away and leave the others to run things for a while.

Ooh, found some news about the miniseries! These articles came out a couple of weeks ago, but I guess I've been so busy prepping for hurricanes, I missed 'em. Warning -- these articles contain spoilers.

Of course, it may not be a spoiler, because it's just a rumor.

But, my husband heard that the Doctor may make an appearance
in the Torchwood mini-series. Now, Russell T. always said that
the Doctor wouldn't cross over into Torchwood, and I said that
to DH, who pointed out that Russell T. also said that the Daleks
would never be back, and they have been several times.

Did anyone here the audio adventure on 9/10, the one about the Hadron Collider? We downloaded it tonight and listened to it. It was a full 44 minute episode, which I wasn't expecting. I thought it would be very short. Martha kept asking everyone how they felt about Tosh and Owen being gone. It seemed a bit forced in that regard, but maybe she felt she needed to, because she's a doctor and she didn't think it was healthy for them to hold everything in. The story was also very touching at the end.
