Hey what's up? I'm excited to see Fanbolt has its very own section for Skins on the forums - that rocks! I work for BBC America and wanted to make sure everyone knows what's going on with the series here in the US...

The UK series will fiiiiinally be making it's way over to BBC America this Sunday at 9pm/8c! So no more waiting - the series premiere is here! :)

I adore Cassie! She was the character I immediately loved when I began watching the show. Sid would have been my second favorite and then Maxxie. I just love those three.

But I really did enjoy Effy when we got to see her. She was an interesting character and I really think they'll be able to do a lot with her in the next season.

I haven't decided my favorite yet.. Maxxie is awesome though. "Will you stop tap dancing, Maxxie!" lmao.

I had this set to record on my DVR. I was watching BBC America because I was watching Graham Norton show and they kept giving previews of the sho and it looked good. Nick Holt said he heard someone describe it as 'Dawson's Creek on speed' lmao.

How can that NOT drag you in?

I think Maxxie is my favourite character, then Tony, then Effy. Cassie is a character that you fall in love with immediately in S1.

They aired a two-part premiere last Sunday, which were Tony and Cassie's episodes. So this week episode 3 ("Jal") will be airing!

LOL. THAT SCENE. I lol'd\!!1 The bit when Angie was tryna talk to Sid about his problem was really funny as well.

Jal's episode isn't as funny as the first two, but it's quite interesting and the ending is good =] Hope you all enjoy it :P

Poor Sid! It's not often we see him without his beanie hat on either..you can tell he's stressed out if he's not wearing it. I just wanna hug him in that scene. I would have ditched my class to stay with him :lol: Nice friends! haha

:lol: He couldn't even speak properly and kept saying "Oh God" :lol: Bless him. I can't believe they ditched him though :( ! I woulda skipped my lesson for sure!

Well, I think us UK kids don't really like her (Pri, Chris, me..) and find her rather dull; maybe because she sticks out too much against the boys' character and attitudes. Hence why she hasn't yet got a shipper's thread :lol: I personally didn't enjoy her, but at bits she was funny. I liked one scene she did in the finale of S1 (which I won't ruin for you) but that's about it.

If you do enjoy her character Daphne, which I respect that, maybe you'd like to start a shipper thread for her =]?

I personally didn't like Jal all too much. I thought she was quite annoying...and she never did grow on me.

On the official site, each character has "What I'm listening to..." listed in their bio... the song they're listening to can be found in the playlist. The rest of the songs are pretty much open for your own interpretation! :)

I'm not exactly sure when they filmed, but I know it was recently. I love Cassie's oversized t-shirt in the interviews, the one that says DUBSTEP really big, haha, that's awesome.
