LOL. School was rather crap today. I've got a different English teacher, and I thought she'd be pretty good, and I don't mind her, but over the summer, she must've inhaled a lot of helium b/c her effing voice has gotten VERY high pitched and the whole lesson it was getting on my nerves. I felt like throwing myself out the window >_>

She's gone a bit blonde as well (even though she's a brunette) 'cause she said to us "Have a good weekend guys!" which means we don't have English tomorrow; so when does she set us homework? For Friday 12th of September! At the end of the lesson, I was like -taps board- "You might wanna change that Miss, we don't have English tomorrow" and she's like "Oh. Oh yeah!" :lol: :lol: I wasn't gonna tell her any earlier though, I'm not extremely intelligent, but I'm no fool, if I told her she'd make the deadline earlier and everyone in the class would kill me >_>

But I'm extremely happy about some of my results - I got A in my Science exam, A* for my Chinese exam and C for my Drama. It kinda clashed against my A* on the results paper, but oh well =/ I said if I get C or above, I'd be happy, so I'm effing happy :lol:

Enough of my rambling, how about you, Pri? What d'you plan next? Uni? Work? Chill out? :lol:

Well at the moment anything, experience is a problem for me and besides I have no referencesbecause no one will give me their adress :lol: But I'm going to call Beatties, HOuse of FRasier actually, and ask about a part time job at the jewellry department. The discount would be good and it's a good job, but it'd only part time so it's a bit of a problem. I'll def do it for a year if I get it though, sent off my Cv to receptionist jobs and will be going on jobcentre to look for more :lol:

LOL. In year 7, my English class made loads of teachers cry. The original teacher we had f*cked off back to Australia b/c she couldn't stand us, and every week we had a different supply teacher, and they kept changing b/c they simple couldn't stand us :lol: This guy who looked like an Undertaker came in tryna bang tables and we all just laughed. Aww.. blissful days of Year 7 :lol: :lol:

Yeah I think it's better with newspapers, 'I look at the Express & Star because they advertise alot and they're local whereas JobSearch is so stupid :lol: I didn't get the job :/ I called, they put me through and said it had been filled alreayd so I slammed the phone on the sofa and cried inside :lol:

I wish I was 4, things were great at four. You start school, it's always the good classes and stuff, and you're so sweet and innocent, it's fun to be 4 :lol:

LOL. Really? Aww -huggles- I think newspapers are better than job centres, I'd feel awkward in the job centre and get all shakey.

Being in Nursery was the best, you didn't have to do anything. Just sit there drawing or saying the alphabet and getting biscuits and juice. In Year 4 I had an amazing year, our teacher was ill for like the whole year, we saw him for about 5 lessons. We had loads of supply teachers which changes constantly, and in the end, we just got split up to other classes. The IT room or working in the nursery was the best everrrrrrr :love: :love: I remember playing tug of war with the teachers working there after thrashing the little kids :lol:

Hehe year 4 our class burnt down because chavs through a brick with fire through the window. That was eventful :lol: We were on 999 Livesavers i tghink, somehting like that. They shwoed our classroom and they shower otr little drawers and there was mine :lol:

Gossip Girl is great. I love the show. Blair is my favorite as well. I read the books before the show was even thought of being made though and in the books Nate was by far my favorite. Nate's slowly growing on me in the show. I love Chace Crawford though. Chuck as well. I didn't like him at first.

The second episode had some great moments..so far I've enjoyed the 3rd one the most I think of this season. I hope it gets better though..I feel like this season is starting off slowly.

Chuck in the book annoyed me to be honest. in the show i love Ed Westwick. I think Ed is amazing. i would say i love his accent but he's got a Brit accent and i'm used to it :lol;

i spoilt muyself and watched the C/B scene, my fave couple. i melted at her holding his hand, his voice was so husky and sexy. Even i'd fall for him all over again :lol:

I love Chuck and Blair..I think now they are my favorite couple on the show. Serena and Dan are just annoying the heck out of me for some reason. I loved them to pieces last season now I'm like..just get over with it and move on and whatever! I still love them and I'm sure they'll end up together in the end anyway..there will be tons of obstacles ahead of them before that..

But that C/B scene was great! It was probably the best part of that ep :lol:

Pretty much the same :lol: I've never been a fan of Vanessa, in the show she's ok but still nto a fan. i love the actress though, she was great in What About Brian

I love S/D :lol: I think it's because they remind me of R/M and Blake and Penn remind me of Ben and Mischa so it's weird :lol: I guess it's ebcause i couldnt have one couple I'd made them into another couple :lol; But i prefer C/B for sure. i think Chuck is too irresistable :lol: They remind me fo S/S :lol: though I only liked S/S, i LVOE C/B :lol:

I like Chase, thik he's a hottie and terrific actor...I don't actually care for Nate which is weird because i loved him in the books. I like him in the hsow, just...I dunno. I can't get over how different Vanessa in the show is from Vanessa in the books! The show version is far more boring than the book version, but then I guess Dan in the books always seemed more scungy than he is in the show too :lol: I love Dan and Serena together...I've actually only seen a few eps here and there cos the show is only on pay tv over here, so i only got to watch it when i was at the gym :lol: So i don't know the whole C/B thing very well, but I must say I love Ed Westwick as Chuck, I hated Chuck in the books but Ed manages to make him...charming

Alexa? Wow that goes way back :lol: I started using that nicname online in 2000...I don't remember why

Actually I always thought it was the movie "Wish Upon a Star" the main character played by Katherine Heigl's name was Alexia on there. I took the i out and liked the sound of Alexa better. After that I went by Alexa...when I joined FB I let everyone call me Alexa and didn't correct it, it was only last year or the year before where I finally told everyone my name was Lisa and everyone was like 'I didn't know that!? really?' haha

People got so used to it that they still sometimes call me Alexa even when they know my name. My online BFF I've been talking to for 6 years I only told her like during the 3rd year of our friendship. She had a hard time using the name Lisa, but she's right used to it now :lol:

Hehe yeah, it's probably because i'm obssessed with the OC still :lol: I loved S/S but I personally grew a little tired of them and although I still loved them it was never near as much as I loved Ryan and Marissa. They're my first ever ship :D I love C/B more than S/S because they have more drama happening and they're not together all the tiem so we get more chasing. i think because S/S were settled tere was no drama and excitement. i still love them though :lol:

Yeah school system is different, it's annoying :lol:

Basically we have to stay in education (the law was set just after i left school) until you're 18 and I went to college for my A levels anyways so everyone has to do a form of education til they're 18 and then they're free to do what they want. So basically while you go to college or UNi, we're going to Uni if we choose to :lol:

The OC is still in my heart. I recently re-watched 3 of the seasons not long ago...gosh Marissa went through everything..it's no wonder they ended up killing her. She really didn't have much left to do with her..but I was totally bummed that in the end R/M didn't end up together, like ugh. You know, they were the true OTP on that show. IMO at least. S/S were awesome, I totally loved them to pieces lol

C/B are more interesting than S/D it's very true, especially this season. I hate to admit it but lately seeing the scenes with S/D I'm all 'omg end already..' I don't know what it is I LOVE them and I love Blake and Penn they are a cute couple and all but it's like suddenly they aren't as fun as they were before...

That's pretty much what's happening in most boards. O.C boards is the perfect example. I mean threads literally moved along in A DAY. And now it takes MONTHS. Even common threads like "What are you listening to?" moves along a lot slower

Aww, Lisa! I just scrolled back up and realised I missed the bit about y'life. I know how it's like to be in a really crap situation, and it must be really difficult with jobs nowadays. Aww, I've never joined the big ones 'cause I don't watch stuff like SN and GG :lol: I mean O.C boards was one of the biggest I joined back in 2007, but now it's literally died so much! It's really heartbreaking.

That's a really harsh requirement. Is there any reason why French is compulsory??


Chloe I believe IS still around, I see her posts most in the Twilight board.
My best friend on FB though (or she used to be here, but she's still my best online friend) is Shirphie (previously known as DevotedEmilyFan) which I started talking to the same time I joined. She's from NY) I've never became such good friends with an online friend until her. We even met in person last summer in Massachusetts, it was one of the best days ever, we went to see a play which had one of our favorite actors in it. :D

I've talk to so many amazing people here at FB, it's why I'm still around.

Yeah, my life sucks...and right now I am suffering the worse migraine possible.! It's been 4 days with this migraine (almost 5) and I've tried almost everything..I even got acupuncture done for it today...I just don't know what to do anymore..

And so you know, headaches is NOTHING new to me. I get them usually 3 times a week but migraines not as often..sometimes I wont get headaches for weeks and then it'll come back...it's no way to live though

The OC boards were one of the biggest. I was there before as well..SPN I posted at quite a bit and OTH from time to time, not so much anymore..The Nightclubs are all dead now too..They used to be so active as well (especially the OC one)

We live in a french/English community. Right by Quebec so everyone HERE has to be bilingual not in Quebec though. Since we share the town with people from Quebec and other towns nearby that are french we need this part to be french as well..it's just the way it is..That's why you NEED French to graduate. Although what they teach in school is pretty lame and doesn't even really TEACH you anything about speaking the language.

I think i got scared off because i was so new and it was crazy then and I'd post and I guess they got skimmed alot and i thought it was because peopel hated me so I tried Fox Forums and they kinda spoke to me but i kinda just used it to read fanfics until like 2006, late and i made some amazing friends on Fox Forums and i missed them, some are ont his fanmade forum I still go on to talk to them randomly, I used to rave abotu Skins and they never heard of it, now they all watch. One of my closest friends on ther,e Ana, is just about to watch it and she's so sweet, she's amazing. They all are :heart: But anywho i came back on here afetr a few years, 2007 maybe, 2006, and I stayed on really :)

Lisa have you been to the doctors? It may be serious is it's recurring. Awwwww, I feel for you, i really do. it's liek there's no real solutions because it's liek a catch 22 situation, but as i said, I do have faith that everythingw ill be alrigth for you iont he end :)

Aww I rememebr the times when threrads would be done within a day or less and peopel sped through them because so many peopel were on and loving these shippers like Marissa and Seth and *him* and Trey and stuff. Now so many people have gone. i used to love the way that everyt hread seemed to have at least one response between the moments you came on. Now you coudl bee off so many days and still catch up easily. It's quite sad

Awww Lisa, well I know about having to learn otherlanguage as a necessity. I HAVE to know Punjabi and I suck at learning it because I'm good at learning standard French and German btu this is so much mroe annoying because the same words mean different things yet they have different words and you have to know when to use them. It's gettiong annoying now. I'm not kean on it. What i can say is is there a class in college for you to learn this? Is there any class Or do they cost? I wouldn't know what else you could do other than buy a bok and leanr yourself but that's really hard

I've been having migraines and headaches since I was like 14 or 15..I've been to so many doctors (it's why I missed so much school and am trying to finish my HS now) so I'm frustrated with doctors now.

I'll probably have to learn it by myself or something. My dad is french and everyone else except my brother and I talk french in my family so it kinda sucks

Gosh this whole thing takes me back to the old days, I was never on here enough to really strike up any good friendships apart from Chris, we sent each other Christmas cards while I was away :lol: But then I stopped coming on here for like 2 years and lost contact with everyone :( I'm glad you guys are all still here though since you're all some amazingly lovely :D
Why do you think the boards aren't as popular as they used to be??
It sucks that you guys HAVE to learn these languages; that's the great thing about Australia, we're such a mixture of so many cultures, there's no way they could make everyone learn a certain language, other than english that is :lol:

Actually I am. I went and got Acupuncture done for my migraines on Wednesday and since then I haven't had one..*crosses fingers hoping it stays this way*

Chloe is great. She was the first one I ever talked to on here. She also helped me so much with my websites. I had a blog and she offered to host me on her domain and showed me how to do everything. How to use FTP and showed me some HTML I didn't know. Without her I probably wouldn't be this far with my web sites (since I now have my own domain and no longer need to be hosted)

Shirphie was the same. She's my inspiration when it comes to my websites and she has taught me SO much in these last 6 years.

And Emma as well (the owner of FanBolt) has helped me so much! She was the one who helped me get all my domain names directed to my domain (which was difficult!) but she figured it out..plus she is just awesome for making this place (without it I wouldn't have gotten to know you lovely people!)

I owe them all so much.

Just so you guys know Web sites, designing layouts and graphic design is my favorite pasttime (along with writing) so I've gotten a long way since I joined FB

Awww I know how you feel. Me and my brother are the British kids in my family. Everyone else can speak much more fluent than us and we haven't really learnt much anyways :/ Hope everything will work out for you though.

I think that it's because of many reaons. I know it's because with cancelled and past shows there's nothing new to talk about so some people have gone for that and because some people didn't like the atmosphere and stuff. It sucks but you never know. What with Heroes and that being fastly popular shows it may pick up and become mega active :/

I'll have to check out the link later, I'm so knackered, dismantled half of my auntie's playhouse in our garden so it's kinda taken the life out of me. However I do have someting frustrating for you. I'm addicted, if you get far tell me :lol: It's taken me days to get to 100 :lol:
