Hey everyone, hope you don't mind if I use my first post to do a little shilling for a new show I'm really excited about. "Legend of the Seeker" premieres this weekend, Nov. 1st. You may not have heard about it because it's not on a regular network so it may not be on a station you watch very much. But see if you can find it -- it's a weekly fantasy series made by Sam Raimi (who also made Hercules & Xena...and Spiderman). It's based on several books by Terry Goodkind known as "Sword of Truth", which are very compelling reading. If I can get a lot of people watching, the show might stick around awhile and at least see through the first novel! :)

If you go to legendoftheseeker.com, there's a place where you can enter your zip code and it'll show your local station and time. There are also videos and stuff, so if it looks interesting to you, please check it out!

Watching. And liking.

I know there are those who are up in arms over the adaptation, but I would say that maybe that is why they changed the name to Legend of the Seeker to avoid some of those criticisms.

Anyway, fun show and some great action, sword fights, and great settings.

Acting a bit ropey at times, but other than that all good.

Hey - I liked those books. I didn't know they made a TV show. Thanks for the post. I will check it out.

I haven't read the books, but I love the show. Hopefully it'll be on for years.
