New show on the CW.

A bunch of people are on this show to become Elle's next junior fashion assistant something or other to Anne Slowey, Elle's director. They have to perform menial "assistant" tasks so far including getting Anne breakfast and dressing mannequins for Anne to judge. They also get editorial challenges in which they have to create pages for the magazine in groups.

What I think --
The show reminds me a lot of the movie The Devil Wears Prada.. the attitudes and all that of the people on the show. But it seems like this show is filled with a lot of fluff compared to other reality shows like America's Next Top Model. I am interested in fashion and how people decide how one thing is "in" or not, but this show I think is more about the drama than anything else.


Anyone else watch it? What do you think of the show?

The little hottie with the thick british accent and the greasy hair was eliminated so I'm outta here. At least we got to see him without his shirt in the 'getting ready for the morning' candid shots at the apartment.

Now that was just mean to the heavy girl - telling them all they can go into the Elle fashion closet and pick out something to wear to the party. They had boy clothes for D'Shaun. They could have gotten some Lane Bryant for Danielle.

Don't tell me they didn't plant the boy clothes for D'Shaun. Then again, don't tell me he couldn't have rocked an evening gown!

Danielle deserved better. It was funny - but cruel- how they kept showing her eating. All they needed were special audio effects of a pig snorting. It was not nice of them. If you're going to treat them like that, don't invite them on your show.

Can anybody tell me what happens with Kate in fourth episode.Did Everyone still hates Kate and what about Jason?

I don't remember which one was the fourth episode but borderline personality disorder Kate was finally let go last night. She had a meltdown with Ann and the panel with everyone present. Then she embarassed herself badly by acting about 6 years old at elimination. She and Ashley were up for elimination and Kate finally went home.

Last night's episode looked particularly staged. Please tell me no one can be as foolish as Kate. I truly hope she was working off a script. Dyshaun seemed particularly scripted also - he called Kate 'chlamydia'. Dyshaun's heart wasn't really into the taunting. I hope he's not that much of a jerk.

I knew she was going to win, she was always up late studying and doing research, she was probably the least nastiest person left, she never really made fun of anyone or got into cat fights. And when Megan totally flipped out when she was supposed to Johanna, what a bitch!
