On Christmas Eve I had my step-dad's family over. Then we opened the presents under the tree.

On Christmas, I'm going to my mom's side of the family for Christmas.

Hey girls,...

On Christmas Eve, in the evening we (my mom, Daniel, and I) went to the 5 o'clock evening service where there was Christmas carols, communion, and a small sermon about the Christ-child. It was packed with ppl but the music was beautiful. Then I took Daniel home (where later he watched the 2nd Ice Age with his papa) and we worked the 7 o'clock service which was the same thing, but more geered to families with older children. We had a small group of kids during that service; it was our normal group of children. After that we went home; I finished watching IA w/ Daniel, he then went to bed, and b-4 I went to bed, I wrapped gifts.

On Christmas day, I was the 2nd person up (it's b/c I cheated and set my alarm clock) then Daniel woke up a little bit later, and lastly my mom. We (Daniel & I) opened gifts and other things from our stockings, had breakfast, and then opened the rest of the gifts. And of course, Daniel got the most gifts. It was fun watching him open his gifts, we enjoyed each others company, and I took several pictures. Which I'll share at another time. Around lunch time, we had our Christmas meal, prepared by my father, we had tons of food to choose from. And we had Christmas music playing.

We have one tradition I'd like to share with you all is this: After all the gifts are opened we let in our cat, Wicket to play in the wrapping paper... at 1st it takes him (and us, Daniel mostly, to calm down) a bit to start playing... I took several pics of him w/ Daniel, with me, the three of us, and a few of him by himself. It's quite entertaining.

Slea, it sounds like you had a lot of fun.

On Christmas eve (during the day) My sister and I opened our presents under the tree. Then I went to my aunt's house and made christmas cookies with my cousin. Then I went home and my step-dad's family was there. We opened presents and had dinner. Then I hung out with my three cousins. We are all around the same age, so we were acting crazy :lol: Then once they left, my parents opened their presents under the tree, and I cleaned up the house and helped my mom put out Santa stuff for my sister.

On Christmas morning, my sister and I opened our santa stuff. Then we had breakfast and went to my grandparents house on my mom's side. We opened presents there and then had dinner. Then we all rested and hung out together. Then I went home and took a nap.

^^KL, she's just 2 yrs younger than Daniel. And I'm glad you had a good time... we did too.

I've worked a little bit on editing my Christmas morning images and soon will post them (prolly in the Photography forum) so keep an eye or two out for them. ;)

Well I didn't go to the mall today because my cousin blew me off. None of my friends blow me off and then my cousin did and it made me think that I shouldn't make plans with her.

I don't know what I'm doing for New Years. My friend is coming home from Florida that day and it's supose to snow. So I don't know if she'll home in time to come to my house or not. But if not, I'll probably drink with my mom and watch the ball drop.

Both of your New Years sounds fun :) I'm going to watch some fireworks at some event close to my house and then after that I'm going to my sister's house, we are popping fireworks, ALOT of them, drinking and going to play some pool because she has a pool table :) probably play some guitar hero and rockband too and watch the ball drop.
