The Mortal Instruments - By Cassandra Clare

Has anyone read these books?

1 - City of Bones
2 - City of Ashes
3 - City of Glass (just released last week)

I have read the first 2 in the series and highly recommend. If you like paranormal stories and are looking for something new to read, look for these books. You won't be disappointed!!

I'm tellin' ya guys - these books are awesome. Cassandra is actually working on a fourth book, but this time will be from Simon's POV, not Clary. It's called City of Fallen Angels published March 2011.... way too far off.

She also signed a movie deal - no word when it will start production.

I just finished the last one (City of Glass.) Wow. The whole series was good, but I think the second book was the best. Thanks for the information about the new series. I wonder why the pub date is so far away? Simon deserves his own book.

You're very welcome!! LOL I totally love this series. Cassie actually has a movie deal in the works. I'm not sure how I feel about seeing it on the big screen as Catherine Hardwick has scared me away from novel adaptations with her vision of Twilight (shudder - that movie was horrible!!).

And just an aside - I also recommend The Hungar Games and the sequel Cathching Fire by Suzanne Collins if you want more YA goodness!!

Happy reading!!
