twinreader is on a distinguished road
I bought Persuasion by Jane Austen, because I also just bought the DVD. I forgot how much I liked the book - better, I think than P&P.

The Bonesetters Daughter by Amy Tan. Good book but not ideal reading around mothers day!

Jane Austen's books are fab! You should check them out. Persuasion is a great one to start with and then read Pride & Prejudice...I'm working on Emma but its been a little hard to get into...it's competeing with my Twilight Collection along with everything else I have to read to prepare for my student teaching!

The Decameron by Boccaccio; If I Am Missing or Dead: A Sister's Story of Love, Murder, and Liberation by Janine Latus; The Overlook by Michael Connelly [one of my faves!]; Confessions of a Shopaholic and Shopaholic Goes to Manhatta by Sophie Kinsella; The Sookie Stackhouse Boxed Set, Book 8, and Book 9 by Charlaine Harris; How to Lose Friends and Alienate People by Toby Young; and The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.
I've spent so much money on books lately!
