Top Gear!

With Jeremy, Captain Sloe and Hammond.
What a riot. The versions from other countries (Germany, Australia and the States) are not as good. I love their road trips.

I can't wait for the upcoming season. It looks fantastic! I can't wait to see what their huge British celebration day is about. I can't believe they keep coming up with new things to do.

I agree, the other countries' versions of Top Gear are not as good. But it was funny when the Australians went against the Brits.

Did you watch the america top Gear last night? Cracked me up! They had to make their favorite Hollywood cars for $2000. Adam chose the General Lee and used a Plymouth Duster painted like the General Lee, Rutledge had a later model Trans Am to represent Kitt from KNight Rider and the best was Tanner who got what I think is a Nissan and tried to make it look like a DeLorean.

No I didn't watch that episode. I gave up on the show. Sounds like it was fun though. Maybe I can watch it On Demand.

Series Eighteen is expected to start in January 2012 following a Christmas special on 28 December 2011.[1] The special will be a route across India, one of the many countries Top Gear plan to visit over the course of the new series, according to Jeremy Clarkson. Shooting in India began on 2 October, with the first leg of the shooting beginning in suburbs of Mumbai.[2] [3] The show was also seen in Lecce, Italy with a Noble M600, McLaren MP4-12C and a Lamborghini Aventador.[4] Hammond announced during the Top Gear Live shows in Birmingham, that additional recordings for the new season had been done in the USA.
Looking forward to the Christmas Special and the new season in January. Can't wait to see what was filmed in the USA.

The Chrysler Crossfire, the Smart Roadster and two of Honda's Type R cars are reviewed in the Season 3 finale.
Is it just me or do they have the wrong synopsis of the episode? This sounds like its for Top Gear AMERICA. Not the BBC Version. That is like on season 17.

That actually is from the BBC Versions. It's very old originally airing in December 2003. Jeremy road tests the Chrysler Crossfire. Richard tests the Brabus Smart Roadster. James goes to Birmingham in a Jaguar XJ6. Richard drives an improved version of the Honda NSX Type-R.

I love this show! Don't think a day goes by that my son and I don't watch an episode. Jeremy rocks, and the Stig is really cool. I love the adventures that the guys go through to test the vehicles that they are driving in each episode.

Of course the American version cannot compare to the original British show. I tried watching it, but it was really boring. I'm sticking with the Brits!

This thread seems to have become a mixture of the BBC and American versions.

Every Saturday it seems like BBC America plays a marathon of Top Gear and today I was totally free so I was looking forward to it and so, of course, they play The X-Files instead. I love X-Files but was so looking forward to some Top Gear!

I'm behind on American Top Gear. Going to try to catch up during this extended weekend

I can't seem to really get into the American Top Gear. It's just not as entertaining as the British version. I still watch it, but really only for the cars. The hosts are not very interesting. The British is all-around a blast to watch
