another promising future cut short... It's a shame and a tragedy and my heart goes out to the family & close friends especially, the brother who he was defending... He's going to need alot of care to get through this even if there wasn't a scratch on him...

To be frank, it's not just London it happens on a regular basis. It's one of them things that it doesn't matter where you live anymore, there are people like this everywhere who used weapons and stuff to show authority and it always ends the same, if not similar.

It is a shame that he was so young (not that being older thna he was would have made it any less sad) he had a promising life ahead of him from the sounds of it. I remember this being on the news, around the time that actress from Eastenders' brother was stabbed and killed too.

Personally, although by having a weapon they think they're stronger, I think they're weak and quite frankly pathetic. It's sickening really that people think they have the right to take someone's life, they don't, no one does.

I have to say it'll be like watching a Heath Ledger movie or even the footage of the MJ tour, watching him in a movie when he's not there to experience its success :/

That's so terrible to hear about that. My heart goes out to them. It's true when it involved bars and alochol things like that will happen. You always have to make to sure you don't put yourself in that situation.

I feel bad for his parents but expectantly sorry for his brother being there and knowing that he died trying to help him. I just pray that there are no ill affects. It is something never forgotten. ( I know because of a family member. )

Its so sad what happened but its also a shame it takes someone well known for it to be taken more seriously by the news, more than just a mention. There are hundreds out there who need protection everyday, I really hope people just wake up, so to speak.

I totally agree Chris. Just last week not more then 4 blocks from my house a little girl was hit and around the corner and a block up a priest was hit. It was mentioned in passing on the news. Because of the memorials that were set up.
