Public "Purity Vows" always bother me. It's a private matter, really. It should stay private, considering how special it is to her.

Thankfully though, she didn't really say it in a judging way, just that it was her decision.

I've never really liked her, she had a good duet with Chris Brown but to be honest I didn't like her remark at the VMA's, saying you're basically a slut if you've had sex. I think that is a far worse image to portray to youths. I'm gonna take this from my experience, if someone says stuff like 'sex is bad' 'it's forbidden' 'you'll get pregnant or STI's' etc, then you're gonna wanna do it. It's psychological in my opinion, you do what you're told not to do. Anyways I still think it was darn right rude to say if you don't wear a purity ring or if you're nto a virgin until marriage then you're a slut, which is what she sounded like she was implying, whether she meant it that way or not

I think it is great young girls look up to her as well as others. It helps to install the values that so many parents try to instill in their kids. I know my husband and I are trying to with our girls.

Again I agree that its a private matter and it should stay that way, and if that is acyually her intention I really hope she dosn't judge those of us who have had sex out of marraige, It bugs me when people think they're better than others over something like this

If i'm honest i don't think it'll stay that way, especially in this day and age, look at Britney. But if that's what she really wants to do, power to her

I don't think that it is a I am better then you. Thing It's just that now a days there are more teen pregnancy then 10 years ago. Diseases are up more as well. Yes you head about them but more so now a days.
