Jolie plans another adoption

ANGELINA JOLIE is waiting for her newborn twins with BRAD PITT to grow another three months before she can begin the adoption process for her seventh child.

The Tomb Raider star and Pitt welcomed twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in July (08).

Jolie was interviewed on The Today Show with Matt Lauer on Thursday (16Oct08), when she was asked if she had plans to adopt another child.

Jolie coyly replied that she's already explored options to expand her brood, which includes four other children - adopted Maddox, seven, Pax, four, Zahara, three, and biological daughter Shiloh, two.

But she admits she is unsure when the adoption will take place.

She adds: "It depends. You can't start the process until any new children are six months old to understand how the new family is settled to see what you can absorb into a new family. I think that's a smart thing anyway, to understand when it's the right time to bring a new child in."

And Jolie insists she doesn't long for her former life before becoming a busy mother-of-six.

She adds, "I haven't been alone for so long now - with (Maddox). I've met the right person (in Pitt)... I don't like being without him. I don't love being alone like I used to be."

As I said before, I love the fact that she wants to give children a home, but I'm just not sure she can possibly have time for all of them

wow. I would have stopped after the twins. how is she and brad supposed to juggle acting, their children and all the other stuff they have to do(interviews, etc.) ???

my aunt and uncle raised 8 children without the benefit of a full time staff on hand, or more money than could ever be spent and they had plenty of time and love for their children - so I don't see how Brad and Angelina wouldn't, especially since really, neither of them ever have to work again unless they want to!
Plus personally, I'd rather be raised by a nanny in that home, than left to struggle through the system for my childhood, but that's just IMO.

Actually, after viewing the photos of her at the SAG awards, I'd be willing to bet she is pregnant again. OMG the pictures of the twins in US weekly today is just stunning. Those babies are so beautiful. I'm horribly jealous of her life.

I don't care if she has/adopts 100 kids. She and Brad can afford to give them anything and everything. A lot of kids have a parent who's gone for work a lot (look at our military deployed for months or years, salespeople who are on the road all the time). I just hope that Brad and Angelina stay together, so the kids have a real family.

Those kids will get a better life then elsewhere though where they are one of very many children waiting - sometimes until eighteen - for a forever home. I've considered adopting a lot of older children - ones that are considered too old by most who want babies but who cry each night for a forever home anyway.

I don't know why she would want to do that. Her last movie consumed so much of her time and Brad is always off doing something (positive like helping rebuild New Orleans). This is real tricky and i agree with those that are saying 'hey they'll have a better life', but if they're kids from like Fiji (one of Maddona's kids) then they might turn out fine living there because Fiji ain't so bad. BUT if they're from some war ravaged country in Africa or wherever then she's doing good. So maybe looking into where she's adopting them from might help us rationale her desire to adopt.
