Based on Jeff Lindsay's novels 'Darkly Dreaming Dexter' and 'Dearly Devoted Dexter', this crime thriller follows Dexter Morgan. Dexter is a forensic blood spatter expert for the Miami Dade Police Department. He is the main support for his sister. He has a steady girlfriend, with two kids who adore him. He also has an active "night life". Based on a code instilled in him by his foster father, Harry, he hunts down people who have escaped justice and makes sure they don't get away with a crime again.

Please tell me someone else on here watches this show. It's amazing.

Yes yes yes! I absolutely love it. My fav eps were when that girl burned down the cabin and the one with the human trafficers.

Great great show! My only problem is that I don't have my showtime subscription anymore.

i just started getting into this show once it was aired on cbs. i haven't seen season 2 yet, but i plan on renting it on dvd soon. can't wait to see what happens with dexter.

the last epi i watched was with the boat... and his sister, and he kills that man!!!!

OooH I only watched a few eppies of season one online, but this show is def. worth the watch, I am gonna look into it when I have more time
