The rep boxes kinda work like the post stars...after a certain amount of I Approves, you get another box

Ok...I understand! do you know what the amounts are? Like is there a listing of numbers like there is for the post stars?

You can't see who gave you rep, it's kinda...hidden, but you can view any comments left by going into your User CP and scrolling down..it's right there

Nope, referrals are completely different

Referrals are the number of people you tell about Fanbolt (referring them) who join and put your username as their referral, while reputation is points given when someone likes a post you've made, and gives you reputation points for it
