Details from the Everwood Ferris Wheel Event
UPDATE (1:29 pm - Event time): Michael Ausiello from TVGuide is riding the Ferris Wheel right now!!! UPDATE (1:50 pm - Event time): Michael Ausiello, TVGuide God, came to the Everwood Ferris Wheel Event with another reporter in tow. He rode the Ferris Wheel twice and our professionals were able to snag tons of pictures and video footage with him. I was able to briefly speak with Micheal by phone (I'm in NY) and he was appreciative of all the fans hard work on this project. Did I mention how much I LOVE him! I thanked him for all of his work with keeping Everwood not only in the minds of the public, but the Executives as well. Can't wait to see all of the exciting pictures from the event, and I'm looking forward to my restraining order from Ausiello. UPDATE (2:30 pm - Event time): So, Colleen almost passed out from heat exhaustion. She's fine now because our handy, caring volunteers took care of her. We're always there for a fellow Everwoodian. So, to sum it up, it HOT there. We do have bottled water, ice, sun umbrellas, and electrical fans on site though. I tend to think that it was Michael Ausiello's appearance that made her sway, but that's just me. More updates to come. UPDATE (3:02 pm - Event time): Kristin Veitch and Korbi from E! are riding the Ferris Wheel right now!!! UPDATE (3:22 pm- Event time): Right now, there is a good amount of fans and reporters who have come to the Everwood Ferris Wheel Event. Currently in attendance are: Kristin Veitch and her assistant Korbi from E! Amy (TVGal) from Zap2It.com The guy, Mark, who did the music for Everwood Executives from ABC Family A person from NBC casting Kansas City Star reporter And On A Very Special Note: We have someone who's riding on the Ferris Wheel in a PURPLE seat in honor of Cailin (an Everwood Music poster's daughter who just had surgery today)!!! Get well soon Cailin. We're even having our professional photographers snap some pictures of them riding the Ferris Wheel in the purple seat in your honor. UPDATE (4:01 pm- Event time): Debra Mooney (Edna) is at the event along with Rina Mimoun!!! UPDATE (4:18 pm- Event time): Debra Mooney, Edna, arrived at the Everwood Ferris Wheel Event and read to the crowd the letter that Vivien Cardone wrote to the fans. Here's the letter: TO ALL EVERWOOD FANS: Hi everyone! I wish I could have been there, but I'm in New York right now. I just want to thank you all for watching our show for the past four years. I wish it could go on for another four! Maybe, if God wants, some other network will see how much you all want us back and decide to take us for another "ride on the Ferris Wheel"! Even so, I had the greatest time working on Everwood, with the crew, the cast, my King Mickey Liddell, and the greatest writer ever, Greg Berlanti. I love you all and hope you think of me when you're all the way on the top of the Ferris Wheel, cause that's how working on Everwood made me feel. So high like I could touch the stars. You've been great fans, and maybe, just maybe, we'll be back all because of you!!! LOVE Vivien (Delia Brown) Debra also gave her own speech and remarked that she wants the show back. She told the people in attendance that nobody from the cast has anything lined up in the fall!!! Rina Mimoun has also joined our festivities and says that she is loving her work on Gilmore Girls right now, but she is open to the idea of an Everwood Movie. Several members of the Everwood Crew have also come to enjoy our little (sarcasm) tribute to the show. And that guy that I posted about earlier who was involved with the music aspect of everwood is named Mark. I believe he was one of the musicians involved with the Everwood music. On a more personal note, I was able to ride the Ferris Wheel myself, thanks to the help of our trusty volunteers Anna and Misty. (I was on the phone with Anna while she took a spin on the wheel for me). There have been about 100 & some people who have turned out for the event so far, and that number's growing. The parking lot with the Ferris Wheel in it is filled with fans and our VIPs, who I hear, have all been extremely kind and down to earth to talk to. And for a SPECIAL SCOOP, our very own Ryan (onlyspice) was able to pry some information out of the ABC Family Executives! Starting in October, ABC Family will be airing the syndicated rights to Everwood. They will air the series as it should be intended, from the very beginning of Season One to the last episode of Season Four. And if you're one of the people who gets impatient waiting for your Everwood, you're in luck! The episodes will air every night at 6pm! So, get your VCRs, DVD burners, and DVRs ready. We can at least tape the full series for ourselves, thanks to ABC Family! LAST UPDATE (6:23 pm- Event time): While Greg Berlanti was unable to attend due to having to rush a script somewhere, Berlanti's assistant showed to support our cause. His assistant said that there was no way that he was going to miss our grand gesture for Everwood. Thanks to the outpour of support from fans and VIPs, we were able to keep the event busy till the end. Rina Mimoun even made a second trip back to our Everwood Ferris Wheel Event to take her own pictures! I'm told that Kristin and her assistant Korbi from E! stayed for a good portion of our festivities, and couldn't have been nicer to converse with the crowd. Debra Mooney decided to celebrate this Everwoodian celebration by bringing her husband and daughter along for the ride. She stayed long enough to read Vivien's letter, make her own speech, chat with fans and reporters, and then had to jet to an audition. Good Luck Debra! Who wouldn't want to snatch you right up. Totally robbed for getting an Emmy for her spectacular performance as Edna! Ryan (onlyspice) will be posting his pictures for us shortly on Everwood Music. He also wanted to add to his ABC Family Everwood scoop that Everwood will be shown between 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls! Looks like ABC Family really is the new WB. Also in attendance through various times of the event were: A WB studios Executive Andy Ackerman, Scott Swanson, and Carl Ogawa (Everwood's producers/associate producers) Here are some images from FanBolt.Com's ShannonQT85: ![]() ![]() ![]() Links to fan pictures from the event: http://community.livejournal.com/sav...30.html#cutid1
