Wow! I mean, wow, and OMG and sweet lord of the rings or any other form of exclamation you want to put in there. Abandon All Hope may very well be my most favorite episode of SPN ever. I had been looking forward to it ever since the very first spoilers leaked. It was supposed to be epic and it most definitely was.

I still think finding out about Crowley last week was just a little too convenient but I am wonder about something Crowley said. He made a remark about the guy who was doing the deal being a big fish so Crowley wanted to seal the deal himself. If that’s the case, wouldn’t he have wanted to have been the one to show up when the Winchesters were making deals? I mean they are big fish. And is Crowley like the CEO of crossroads? Because if so, he screwed up somewhere and the crossroads demon who gave Dean his deal needs to be fired. Crowley wants the devil dead so he couldn’t have wanted Dean in hell where there was a chance of him breaking the first seal and setting the whole apocalyptic ball in motion. And the other male crossroads demon wouldn’t make a deal with Sam but getting rid of Lucifer’s vessel would have been the smart thing to do if Crowley was really in charge of deal making. Plus if what everybody has been spouting about “It always had to be you” is true, then if Sam had been in hell the last seal couldn’t have been broken. So Crowley definitely fell down on the job somewhere or maybe he just wasn’t paying attention to the big picture until it was too late and maybe I shouldn’t think so hard. :)

I loved the whole hanging out at Bobby’s for their last night on earth. Sam and Dean were spending some quality time together. I love how Dean can make a joke about the demon trust issues and Sam comes back with a snappy remark but there’s no anger there. None of the defensiveness that we saw last season when Dean would make those kinds of remarks. I think their relationship is solid and this was proven again when Sam asked if Dean had any last words and Dean responded with “I think I’m good.” and Sam said, “Yeah, me too.” They’ve said all they need to say to each other and the look said the words that they will never say.

I’m glad Dean and Jo didn’t hook up but only because I just didn’t want to see end of the world sex. I’ve always loved Jo and thought she was a good match for Dean. I know, I know. A lot of people don’t think so but everybody is entitled to their opinion. That’s just mine. Jo definitely proved herself as a hunter. She’s come a long way since that first meeting in Harvelle’s Roadhouse years ago. She saved Dean’s life. That’s something that’s got to weigh heavy on his mind in months to come.

Mark Pellegrino makes a very compelling Lucifer. I don’t think Cas had ever considered the things that Lucifer said to him. I’m sure he’d had a few thoughts about it but not that he would be on heaven’s most wanted list right next to Lucifer. And the things Lucifer said to Sam. Oh, low blow. The story was way too similar to what happened to Sam and Dean last season. You could see the hurt on Sam’s face as he had to stand there and relive that again. But I think we saw some of Lucifer’s true colors in this episode, some of his malevolence coming out in his disregard for demon life….something he created.

Jo and Ellen. What can I say about these two? Two of my faves through the whole series and what a way to go. Epic = heroic and these two were heroic. I knew Ellen would never leave her daughter and as a mother, this scene absolutely broke my heart. I don’t think I’ve ever cried during this show as much as I did for these two women. And Dean’s kiss good-bye? That was the most heartfelt kiss I’ve ever seen Dean give anyone.

I’m an emotional wreck now Kripke! I hope you’re happy! :(

Random thoughts:

Bobby should never say he’s useless again. If it hadn’t been for him, Dean would have totally fallen apart.

Only five things the Colt can’t kill. Wonder what the other four are? The four horsemen? Oh crap, because death is coming.

Apparently this is some sort of MPEG2 encoding, however, most major video editing suites prefer not to accept this format… what we need is something more common… such as .AVI or .MPG. I would be happy with the .MOD file format if the software that came with the JVC Everio actually worked.
I have tried many video converters software with no luck so far, it’ll get halfway through the process, and then something will fail.
Now a type of converter called Mod Converter appears. Here I want to share the one regarded as the best on the market by most people. I also want to share the instructions about how to use it.
