It's still open. Can't pick a winner till a couple days after the contest closes because the entries have to be validated to ensure that only entries that meet the requirements are eligible.

Couple notes on contests -

1- We've sent out several notifications recently about contests and we haven't heard back. If we don't hear back from you within 72 hours, we will pick another winner. To ensure that this doesn't happen to you, make sure that Emma@fanbolt.com is added to your white list so it gets delivered to you and not a spam folder. Please understand that we want to get the prizing out to the winners as soon as possible, and we have to enforce the 72 hour period to ensure that shipping can happen in a certain window on our end.

2- There are a lot of members that are entering contests over and over on FanBolt that have not been following our rules. Please keep in mind that most of our contests require a certain number of posts during a certain period in order for you to be eligible to win. If you've been a member for more than 1 month and have only 20 posts or 20 submitted headlines. Then you're not eligible for ANY contests that require you have 20 posts / headlines. These contests require a certain post count in a certain period. If you haven't posted AT LEAST 20 posts on our message boards (or submitted 20 headlines on the main page that have been approved) during the time a contest starts and ends, then your entry is deleted. So if you haven't won a contest in an extended period of time please look at your post count. FanBolt loves its members and wants to say thanks to the members who are active. Members who post more during a contest period are recognized by the system and our given a great chance in winning. Please keep this in mind.

The rules are different for each contest. For Twilight you just have to have at least 10 posts/approved submitted headlines and be a fan of FanBolt on Facebook.

Some contests require 20 posts, and those have been the ones we've had more issues with.

Sending private messages takes a bit longer since we have an automated system that sends out the award emails. Then people that don't check the site daily wouldn't get those either... the emails that alert you to having a private message are the same alerts that tell you if you've won a contest. But I'll defintiely look into it.

On 6/16 asketcher2 was notified and we never got a response from them. I believe that is the only recent one. There was a lot back in May though. If you've gotten emails from us before though you don't need to worry, they should come through fine.

I just received notification that I won the Royal Pains prize package. I'm so excited. It has a first aid kit and extra Band-Aids, which is nice to have at the house during hurricane season; and Travel Scrabble (and I LOVE Scrabble), plus all kinds of other stuff. I'm really excited!!
