The trio of actresses behind the sleeper 1988 hit -- Julia Roberts, 45; Annabeth Gish, 42; and Lili Taylor, 46 -- reunited for Entertainment Weekly's Reunions Issue, and all three looked spectacular.

For the cover image, the actresses wore jeans and T-shirts emblazoned with "A Slice of Heaven" (just like the ones they donned in the movie as teenage pizza parlor waitresses in Mystic, Conn.). Though they were dressed super-casual, all three appeared gorgeous and youthful.

Lili Taylor on joining 'Almost Human': My character was originally a man -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

How good is EW cover girl Lili Taylor? So good that the producers of Fox’s upcoming sci-fi cop drama Almost Human changed a character’s gender so that she could take on a role.
“I was told they were open to making her a woman, so my first thought was, ‘Fantastic. I always wanted to be a cop,’” she reveals in this exclusive video preview for the series, which debuts over two nights on Sunday, Nov. 17 and Monday, Nov. 18.
“The criminals have a lot more complicated means at their disposal,” she adds of the J.J. Abrams-produced show, “so we have to be thinking a lot more out of the box.”

The Fox series Almost Human, from creator J.H. Wyman (Fringe) and executive producer J.J. Abrams, is a high-tech, high-stakes action drama set 35 years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. The show also stars Lili Taylor, Minka Kelly, Mackenzie Crook and Michael Irby.

During this exclusive phone interview with Collider, actress Lili Taylor, who plays police captain Sandra Maldonado, talked about how she came to be playing a character originally written as a man, why she wanted to play a cop, what it’s been like to work with this cast, adjusting to never really knowing where your character is going next, how she’d love for her character to get out in the field more, and what she thinks about this representation of the future.
