I walk 5-miles a day (usually---unless school deadlines pile up). When I walk, I READ books. Really. I need the walks for my exercise---and walking is BORING. Reading helps me escape the mundane-ness of the walk and escape from the stresses of school. People give me a bad time about walking and reading (I can't tell you how many times some smart ass has yelled out "Now that's what I call multi-tasking" and laughing--like I hadn't heard that dozens of times before... Groan...). What I don't get is how can people NOT read while they're walking?
