OK, I have a question, if anybody is reading. My friend asked me today if anybody ever figured out who the man under the towel in the steam room was. I mean the man who said Luke should get the house, when he and Kirk were both trying to buy the Twickham house.

I don't think they knew the guys name, but it was just like a town elder type of guy.

We were also trying to figure out who the actor was. I think we got it through process of elimination from the credits, but it wasn't a name I recognized even though the voice sounded familiar.

wow, i haven't posted here in a long time. RIP gilmore girls, right?

anyway, i do have a question for those still reading. i'm planning a mini-marathon w/ some friends who haven't seen gg, and i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of episodes we should watch (season 1 to start) to get a good overview. obviously, the pilot, but which after that? thanks!

Rachel, I'd start with the pilot, like you said. Then move to ones where Rory's boyfriends are introduced and leave for the next guy. For Lorelai, I'd do a mix of the boyfriends, and move into her relationship with Luke. For her parents, I'd do some at the beginning where they REALLY don't get along, then some toward the end where they start a tentative, better relationship.

I'm enjoying watching the reruns on television. I still have the first five seasons on DVD, but never got around to getting the last two, partly because I was mad at what the showrunners did to it.
