I was so convinced Dianne was going to call 'Hi' Cary out!
Maybe I'll come around to Peter, not sure about it though. I definitely think he is needed in the show. Honestly, what happened between them is what attracted me to the show so much and kept me hooked! I was glad she slapped him across the face. Mel, about Kalinda and Cary. Kalinda, she is super gorgeous to start off. I enjoy her character on the show - sort of like a heartless Dianne and Alicia mixed together. I am confused as to how she "knows" so many people. A theory I had is that she was possibly in the ' entertainment" business in her past [she worked everywhere else]! I liked her up until I saw her having dinner with Child's in a past episode; she's playing both fields and I don't like that. I think her and Alicia may become good friends which will stop all that later on though, so she still has hope for me! I am really interested to know more about her and Peter though, but seeing what you guys wrote, it looks like it hasn't happened yet. Cary, oh sweet, sweet Cary. He takes competition seriously doesn't he! I like him on the show - I hope after the six months are up they decide to keep them both instead of let Cary go. I would actually like to see him and Kalinda try to date, heartless + compassionate = a life-changing relationship for the both. He's sort of like a sideline character to me though, I really could care less what happens in his personal life! Alicia has become a tv role model to me, I love her. I still don't feel comfortable joining the OT thread until I have watched Season Two. My plan is to finish up Season One, watch the Season Two episodes online, then start watching regularly [on television. I am really going to hate when I've watched all the episodes, I wish they would go on forever. I'll probably watch Season One over and over again! I picked up TV Guide this week just for the fact that Peter, Will, and Alicia were on the front. I did read the article. Will and Alicia are going to hookup - Yay! Seriously, I have no clue why I hadn't been watching this show before now, it really is my number one at the moment.

Season One was finished two hours ago by me! I didn't realize how sad I was until I took the last disc out the dvd player and realized I have no more episodic discs to watch - it became part of my everyday routine! I will most likely end up watching the whole season over - I can't help it, I'm hooked! I wish Netflix already had Season Two episodes for viewing so I could watch them through the PS3 - I'm going to hate sitting at the computer watching hour long episodes - but I just have to know what will happen in Season Two! The Good Wife Season One Is Absolutely Amazing Start To Finish! I last posted after watching episode 'Fleas', so as you all probably know from loving the show yourselves, I have a lot to talk about now that I've finished up the season! Heart Alicia and Will Kissed! Can I just say that I have been waiting for this moment since like episode three? Why couldn't he have been there when she came back for her 'laptop' [yeah, right]? Instead, he was gone, so for once Alicia did something very shockingly of character to me: she went home and took out her sexual tension on Peter! This episode also got to me because of the actual trial subject, the unborn baby - it was so sad that lazy Lifestate lady used her baby once again to try and postpone judgement . Ugh, made me so mad at her! Doubt was pretty good. Finally, Dianna found a man. I was hoping in this episode we would set it establish firmly into a relationship, but even at season's end, we never did. I hope Season Two shows the two together more, whether in a relationship or just purely friends. They make a good match - haha, but she is definitely no Sarah Palin! Boom, okay, I fear Jonas Stern will be returning back for Season Two? I do not like him at all. Seriously, you have a problem, deal with it. I'm not sure about all this religion and Peter mix. It's good if it helps him out, but after seeing the run-in in a further episode with Cosco, it's clear he is still using positive situations to gain negative advantage. I also have a feeling that Cosco is going to become a problem for Peter in season two. Why would he go so far [in a later episode], as to fake his death and take money out of his unborn son's college account [though the son never will be born, it was still obviously a very sentimental account holding]. And what is it? Just what is it Alicia need to help him with? Mock You're kidding me Peter. In a church arguing? Ripping of wires and clothing of Cosco, and then walking out, and letting Alicia see you once again in a hard-to-make-right situation. Will you never learn? Alicia and Will's jealousy is so up-in-your-face for each other. I was so confused on how to feel when three things happened: Alicia walked out for dinner with Will [which I wanted to happen], Peter chased her [get back in the house Peter, she deserves to know her true feelings], the house arrest monitor went off. Is he going back to jail? Of course not, Zack and his sister found a way to keep him home. I'm actually liking him a bit better now that he is home, and while I want him in the picture, I so do Will. I'm confused. I think I want Alicia to cheat on Peter like he cheated on her? Isn't that horrible? Haha, and then Will did something that made me mad at him: "No big deal Alicia" [I'll just call up another female, Sadie]. If Alicia means so much to him, why do that? Oh yeah, that Hansel and Gretal Mock Trial - Hilarious! Unplugged Great trial. The mistress with the child. The ex-wife left with nothing. Both of them deserved something. One fighting for him to live, one fighting for him to die. Whatever happened? Did they pull the plug? I think I missed that. Cary made me mad, running around telling everyone "vote for me". I was so on edge the whole episode. Ugh, for a moment there, I hated Dianna when she told Alicia that "Cary's Better"; tears were welling up in my eyes too. I was shocked that the firm's decision came at the end of this episode. This is a prime example of how good this show is. The decision of Cary or Alicia could have made a great season finale - it would have definitely drawn in a huge rating. The Good Wife has bigger matters at hand though. I was surprised and after the episode ended left to wonder, "if this wasn't the finale, what will be...what could be bigger than this decision". Ha Cary, that's what you get for assuming Alicia lost before you walked in those doors. I was actually sad to see Cary go though. I was hoping the firm's saviour would come along and that Dianne and Will would be able to keep both Cary and Alicia, so it was also a shocker that never happened. Calinda's got a crush! I actually like her and mysterious detective man together. But why is she doing this to herself : no heart. I love her character, but I want to see her break down with emotion. Then again, thinking it over, I think that 'no emotional attachment' trait might be what's making me love her so much in the first place. It seemed obvious when he started talking about his life she didn't care - no strings attached kind of girl? If only I could be like that - I am so emotional at times! Hybristophilia Not you again Sweeney! Are you serious! Alicia just got you off on a murder trial - one involving your wife. Wow, it shocked me at the end - I figured he killed his wife all along, and he had the audacity to tell Alicia one more time that he did in fact kill his wife. Just when I thought finally Alicia and Kalinda would have a girl's night out to celebrate her win at the firm: duty calls. And it's him, handcuffed to a dead girl! Can you believe he was dragging her hand trying to get to that camera. They never showed what was one it that was so interesting. I hope we haven't seen the last of Sweeney! Uh oh - mysterious detective is on the possibly dirty-cop list. And Kalinda like girl's too? Or just a tactic to get info from the FBI? Running The season finale. Wow was it a great show. And how appropriate. Peter resigned in the pilot, and now in the finale, he is back in the running. Is this smart considering how many people are out to get him? I don't really consider this 'over' as they say. Wow was the last scene powerful. Peter holding out his hand for Alicia to come support him once again for his re-election, and the phone ringing : Will. It cut out at the right time to keep me on edge: what will she do! And I knew Cary would do this! Teaming up with Glen Child's - wow. Next season is really going to be an even bigger competition. Alicia against Cary in a courtroom - that is going to be interesting. But will Cary try to do more than just break her down in the courtroom - will he get into the personal beef Child's has with the family? The season left these questions on my mind! I hope Season Two answers them!
