yeah blair is definitely the best.most of the other characters get on my nerves for one reason or another.I get sick of serena and her perfectness and the way everybody loves her.its also getting really annoying how she always gets what blair wants.Jenny is annoying because shes such a wannabe,but I do like her in the new "it girl"series.Nate is annoying because he always cheats on blair but then ends up wanting her back,and the whole drug storyline is getting tiring.although he is my favorite guy character!and dan and vanessa are just seriously boring at times

I had read somewhere that she already agreed to do it.it had said that it was to be released in late 06' also, but i havent really heard anything about it in a while so maybe their rethinking things

There's nine books in the series, but hopefully the tenth will be out within months! Cecily von Zeigesar gets the GG books out pretty quickly.
I also love Blair. I love her "Audrey Hepburn wannabe" personality. I can't help but love Nate too. Blair/Nate is such a cute match!

I love these books! I don't like Serena. She's trouble. I am so Blair. My cousin got me hooked because she said there was a character who reminded her of me. But after I read the first one she wouldn't tell me who! I finally got it out of her. She's definetly a Jenny.

there was an interview with Cecily Von Ziegesar and shes said that the actors have not even been chosen yet, nor has the actual script been written. I watched the interview online and i'll post it on here if I can find it again..she also said that she herself isnt even sure who the actual gossip girl in the book is and shes not sure if shes ever going to reveal who it is how do you guys feel about that? personally,i would be angry if she never let us know who it is because yeah, it would ruin the mystery,but not if she did it at the end of the series,and i've been reading all the books, getting more and more curious about who it is

Oooh so the movie isn't even for sure...
 and who is gossipgirl? i'm curious too and it's kindof stupid that cecily herself doesn't know who gg is but I've always thaught that cecily didn't knew who it was anyways we'll see how the series will go...
