and i think their friendship would be weird at first but develop rather nicely. i mean chuck needs someone since Nate's out of town so much and busy b/c of this business with his father. and Chuck needs someone to talk to besides Blair who has great comebacks..but is putting him down alot lol

ITA he and Dan are so odd together yet it works. I think it's gonna help Chuck open up more. He's quite closed off and he's always hiding beind the stunts he pulls. He seems to be really down atm because of Blair and everything, like when he mistook that girl for a hooker (ouch for the girl) he just looked so worn out when he apologised. I think it could be good for them.

I think that with Dan he doesn't feel like he has to be better than him becasue he knows he is so he is more comfortable about opening up to him about different things. Dan doesn't intimidate Chuck so he is able to be the real him. Whether its him being a jerk or him being sad and lonely.

yeah i agree.
we need more dan and chuck scenes but now they pry won't be friends because of dan's story sigh.

I think that will create more Dan/chuck scenes bizzarely because Chuck will be more aware. i think it may lead to him being more trusting

Yeah he does. I think that's why he's so coniving and plays these tricks, because he thinks it's the only way. He has low confidence at times yet he acts cocky. Dan may help him and i think Chuck might help Dan as well

I agree Dan could totally help Chuck chill out and Chuck could help Dan realize his full potential.

Yep exactly. I haven't really been pro Dan lately because I think he was being way too judgemental and that but i kinda ejoyed him with chuck so i hope for more scenes of them. I kinda hope that although Chuck may open up and be more trusting he still continues this little sly plans. i love them, they're ingenius

so my mom watches this show too and like three weeks ago Dan did something she didn't like so she started yellign at the tv. She was like No your bad ! I don't like you anymore!! and i was sitting in my room doingn homework and watchign the show and i just shook my head lol but anyways i KNOW i LOVE his little sly plans! they are so bad but i love it. and i would love to see Chuck open up. I was so sad for him when he opened up to Dan about his mother and it was obvious he needed someone to talk to.

Yeah, I wanted to shake him when he took it back saying she died in a car crash. He was so adimant and you could see the pain in him. Ed was so good in that scene, I may be biased but it's true!

oh it was. my mom is crazy lol i love her but she is way crazy.
and no your not biased lol i think Ed did a marvelous job in that scene! he did so well being emotional but not too emotional to be like he's acting. I almost was like oh my gosh his mom actually died. but then i had to calm down a bit and be like it's a tv show.lol and when he took it back i thought he said she died in a plane crash flying over the Andes or something? maybe i just wanted to hear plane crash. actually maybe i should go find it and watch it again lol
