It deserves several oscars! Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith definately should get their share of oscars too.

Oscar!
Harry Potter totally deserves an oscar! Especially in these last few movies, the main stars' acting is brilliant, the special effects, brilliant, the directing brilliant. The reason that Twilight won over Harry Potter in shows such as People's Choice is because it's all the teeny boppers voting for that type of stuff, the preteens that love Jacob and Edward ect. (This can be proved by the fact that Justin Beiber won best jaw dropping moment over the scene in Inception where the city flips upside down.) I love Twilight as much as the next person, but Harry Potter is clearly the better films. I think Robert Pattinson is fine as heck, but Daniel Radcliffe has clearly had to portray better acting chops, at least in his role of Harry versus the role of Edward. Same with Kristen Steward versus Emma Watson. But all the recognition Harry Potter needs is the thousands of fans that will sleep on concrete to see them. That proves anything more than any trophy.
