Cars 2
Hi everyone! So now that Disney's latest animated movie Tangled is doing so well, thought I'd start talking about the next offering from Pixar: Cars 2. Anyone enjoy the first one? (I know you're out there!)
Here's the trailer for you guys to take a look at. Let me know what you think! Cars 2 trailers and video clips on Yahoo! Movies |

Awesome! Yes, you don't have to be a girl to like Cars
Take a look at the brand new characters (and their famous voices). Any one in particular you look forward to seeing? I like Finn McMissile, and not just because he's voiced by one of my faves - Michael Caine! |

My 2 year old nephew loves the Disney Cars movie and when I was taking care of him for awhile he wanted to watch it ALL the time. I have to admit that I didn't really mind the first (I don't know how many times) I thought it was great and so funny. I just showed him the trailer for part 2 and he watched it over like 20 times saying 'again?' 'again?' Cute. He's going to love the movie when it comes out. I am also looking forward to seeing it.

Cars is one of the few animated movies of the recent years that I really liked and by the looks of the trailer I think Cars 2 will not let me down either
![]() 6 more months to go until it premieres.

I loved the first Cars, and I have seen the trailer for Cars 2. I am just afraid there won't be the same "MAGIC" of the first film. I like the new Holly Shiftwell character though. Please calm my fears that Cars 2 will be just as great as Cars.

And here comes the shocker: I am shameful to say that I have yet to see the first! Now, a shocker for me: I wasn't expecting a movie such as Cars to gain a sequel [basing on the summary and plot solely]. At one moment in time, I am aware of the craze little kids were experiencing from the film. I think everyone knows someone who has a kid with a "Cars" bed or some sort of room decor! I guess I will be playing catch-up on this one - whichever the case, this one would definitely be a "Wait For The DVD" one for me!

The first movie was just OK, easily the worst of Pixar's films just based on easy gags and nothing beyond the standard kids movie. That's not to say it was bad– Pixar's junkers are still better than many kid's films– but it wasn't at that Pixar level of greatness. Thus, it shocks me that not only did they sell out and make a sequel, but it seems dumber than the first. At least that one had the classic Americana road trip aspect to it. Now they're just throwing in spies and other characters and British jokes for the heck of it.
