Batman Begins (2005)
![]() Bruce Wayne loses his philanthropic parents to a senseless crime, and years later becomes the Batman to save the crime-ridden Gotham City on the verge of destruction by an ancient order. Starring: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Katie Holmes, Gary Oldman, Cillian Murphy, Tom Wilkinson, Rutger Hauer, Morgan Freeman, Ken Watanabe. it's a well written, authoritatively directed, impeccably acted (especially by Bale's powerhouse lead performance and Cillian Murphy's sickly menacing Scarecrow) and very high quality production. Indeed, most other summer blockbusters could learn a thing or two from Batman Begins. If the Batman franchise died under it's own gaudiness years ago, let us rejoice this glorious rebirth - Batman truly does begin here. I rate this movie a 9/10. What do you think about this movie? Where you always a batman fan like me? or you started liking the Dark Knight from the Nolan's movies? Last edited by JayW; 07-31-2012 at 02:37 PM. |

I saw Batman and Robin in the theaters and thought it was a good movie, but I've become more of a Batman fan because of Nolan's movies. Christian Bale is awesome and the movies have been amazing.
