This may not be all that obscure...but how about the sequel to "The Blue Lagoon"---"Return to the Blue Lagoon"??? Neither Brooke Shields or Christopher Atkins are in it.

I watched both of the Carries the first one scared me too the second one was good too it wasn't scaring like the first one.

I didn't watch the Legally Blondes 3 but the girls did.I believe it is soposta be Elle's nieces.

I know I liked both but sometimes when they do sequels it some are worse then the first ones. Also I feel if they are gonna do a sequel they should go from where they left off. Or at least do it where They follow the storyline and have it be the kids etc.

I found some shots from "The Rage: Carrie 2". As I mentioned elsewhere, Amy Irving is the only returning cast member from the original film, playing Sue Snell again. There's a shot of her with the lead, Emily Bergyl (who is playing Carrie's unknown half-sister by her runaway father, Rachel).

Also, I'd forgotten this, but when she becomes enraged, she inexplicably grows this vine-like tattoo on her skin. Weird! Check out the poster art and photos below. And YES, this DID play in theaters (it's where I saw it).




The original's Amy ("Sue Snell") Irving is on the right.


Instead of a prom, there's a big party where Carrie.., er Rachel lets loose her powers. Note the bizarre vine-like tattoo that inexplicably grows on her during her rage. You can also hear Piper Laurie's (who is NOT in the film) repeated "They're all going to laugh at you" just like what Carrie experienced in the original film. WEIRD...

I'm surprised that JAWS 2, JAWS 3-D and JAWS: THE REVENGE have not been mentioned yet. All sequels, all terrible.

Yes--they are bad. But everyone knows about them. This is mainly for sequels people did NOT know existed.

With the upcoming DARK SHADOWS remake (based upon the 1960s TV soap opera), it occured to me that many people might not realize there were TWO previous theatrical movies based on the show. "HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS" was a condensed 90 minute theatrical remake of the original Barnabas the vampire storyline. Its sequel "NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS" did not feature Barnabas or Collinwood or the Old House... It DID feature Quentin, but he was NOT a werewolf. It also featured the witch Angelique and starred future Charlie's Angel Kate Jackson! Rumor has it that both movies will be on DVD NEXT year.
