While there were some great films last year (if you're looking for that, try one thread over), there were also some absolutely awful train-wrecks with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. What were your worst films of 2011?

Season of the witch was one of thew worse movies I saw of 2011.

the only movie i really hated was Apollo 18. terrible!!!!

I have not been the movies much this year but here are The Razzies nominations for Worst Film of 2011 (the description are theirs, not mine)

JACK & JILL (Adam Sandler plays twin brother and sister)

BUCKY LARSON: BORN TO BE A STAR (A Midwestern dolt comes to Hollywood to pursue a career in porno films)

NEW YEAR'S EVE (20 major stars waste time on a "plot" almost as sophisticated as an episode of THE LOVE BOAT)

TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON (an even louder, even longer 3-D follow up to Michael Bay's 2009 Worst Picture "winner" TRANSFORMERS 2);

BREAKING DAWN, PART I (Sparkly Vampire Edward finally marries – and impregnates – Whiny Goth Girl Bella).

And--the worst film to me last year:

The Smurfs

(A lot of the other stinkers mentioned I didn't see...thank goodness)

I'm completely with Paranormal Activity 3 - didn't even get it. Green Hornet had a hot man - so did captain america.

I can't agree with Captain America - I enjoyed it and the aesthetic was perfect for that movie

I actually liked Season of the Witch, but I hated Paranormal Activity 3.

I like Ryan Reynolds a lot. But I just can NOT stand superhero movies (SNORE!!). I tried both of these flicks out--because of Reynolds and because of whatever (I don't even know why for Capt. America now)...but I was B-O-R-E-D!

you didn't like Just Go With It? that was one of my favorites. i loved that movie
