The Lucky One.. 2 1/2 stars.....was kinda disappointing. it was pretty slow paced and i never really got emotionally attached to any of the characters. the acting was good, but it seemed more like a tv movie to me..

Watched 'Melancholia' on Netflix last night. I'd give it a 6/10, mainly for the amazing visuals and great performance by Kirstan Dunst. But the story and other characters weren't very interesting and the pacing was really slow.

Last movie I saw was LOCKOUT. Guy Pearce nails it as Snow and it's a badass action good time. Definitely worth seeing!

SAFE
If there was an Academy Award for Best Action/Drama, SAFE would win hands down! Jason Statham is a bad....watch yo mouth! It was a little too violent for me, but what else could he do when the Russian Mob, the Chinese Mob and crooked cops are in the mix? And they all want what's in a little girl's head. Worth Watching! And there are some laughs, too! |

Safe- 8/10: GREAT action movie, tons of amazing shootouts and fights, with a plot that is actually pretty good for an action movie. Kid actors are always tough to work with, but I thought the little girl was quite good. And Statham is always amazing when he gets to play the tough guy against the world type of character and he doesn't disappoint.
