Wink Favorite 80's movies.

So, After my 90's list i thought, i'd make a list of movies of 80's. So, Here are some of my favorite movies of the 80's :


1. E.T. The Extra Terrestrial - (1982, Steven Spielberg)
2. The Empire Strikes Back - (1980, Irvin Kershner)
3. The Shining - (1980, Stanley Kubrick)
4. Fast Times at Ridgemont High - (1982, Amy Heckerling)
5. Scarface - (1983, Brian De Palma)
6 Back to the Future - (1985, Robert Zemeckis)
7. When Harry Met Sally - (1989, Rob Reiner)
8. The Breakfast Club - (1985, John Hughes)
9. Big - (1988, Penny Marshall)
10. Stand By Me - (1986, Rob Reiner)
11. Weird Science - ( 1985,John Hughes)
12. The Goonies - (1985 ,Richard Donner )
13. Ferris Bueller's Day Off - (1986, John Hughes)
14. The Karate Kid - (1984,John G. Avildsen)
15. Sixteen Candles (1984, John Hughes)
16. This Is Spinal Tap (1984, Rob Reiner)

I love for keeps, don't tell mom the babysitter's dead, weekend at bernies just to name a few & some may actually qualify as 90s but it ran together for me

More a nostalgic list than a list of the "best" films.

Is "Weird Science" really a better movie than say "Raging Bull" or even "Raiders of the Lost Ark"?

Raiders of the Lost Ark, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Gremlins, The Lost Boys, Beetlejuice, Beverly Hills Cop, etc. I could go on and on but I'll just stop it right there.
