The actress who played Taylor Townsend will be getting hitched in the fall.

Actress Autumn Reeser, better known perhaps as Taylor Townsend on The O.C., has confirmed to Us magazine that she is engaged.

The lucky guy is writer/director Jesse Warren.

The magazine caught up with the actress at the 15th Annual Lint Roller Party in Hollywood Thursday where she opened up about her relationship with Warren, saying, “He’s my college sweetheart.”

No plans are made yet for the big day, but according to Reeser, the whole thing will be low-key and give credit to her California roots.

“It'll be fall for sure,” she told the magazine. “I'm thinking probably San Diego so far, that's where I'm from. Maybe my parents house?”

As far as any fears of fitting into the perfect wedding dress go, the actress has none as her work on CW’s Valentine keeps her in tip top shape.

What type of exercise is she getting nowadays?

“I’m a dancer!” she tells Us, and things are going well so far.

Reeser said she could do “modern and contemporary. It's so much fun you don't even realize what a workout it is.”

This is a good thing, as (with her skills) she won’t have any fears about dancing at her wedding reception either.

Thanks for posting that. Hasn't she been engaged for about a year nor or a little more than that? I figured she would be getting married soon.

I went to watch Valentine last night from Sunday's show and it was a repeat again. It was the Book of Love episode. Last week was a new show though right?

I am glad that Autumn seems to have something else in the works. I am still hoping she'll guest on LAPD.

I thought so. Last week, my DVR didn't tape it and I looked on line and couldn't find a new one. This week's was a repeat though too. I am not sure what is going on. I thought we were going to get the last 4. I am confused though. They were replaying the episode from the previous week at 6 and then the new one at 8. The Daddy one seems to be on every week though.

Fingers crossed for me too that is LAPD!! Since they were on the same set....maybe it will be. She had to run into somebody right??

Yes, last week was a repeat of Valentine. I don't think we're getting all 13 eps of Valentine. I'm pretty sure there are only 3 left? If I'm right there will be a new one this Sunday and then 2 on the previous sunday and that's it. MRC got out of the 13 we were supposed to get *rolleyes*

I think if Valentine was given a better network and timeslot it could have worked out.

I'm hoping for LAPD, too! Autumn's been a bad girl, she needs ben to arrest her!

I was afraid we weren't going to get them all. It was getting better and if promoted and a better time slot would have at least gotten a fair chance.

Autumn needs to get on LAPD now.

She needs a good show on a supportive network. Autumn is too talented to end up on shows that go nowhere.

I totally agree. She should have stayed away from the CW after The World According to Barnes. Bless her. She really liked the role of Phoebe. I feel bad because she had said she wanted the show to be on awhile because she loved the character so much, then the next time I talked to her she was a little upset that the show wasn't getting promoted and she doubted herself that it would be on for awhile. i'm glad that she atleast got to have a blast shooting it, and that she became really good friends with the cast.

She needs to get on LAPD. NOW! NBC is an awesome network.
