That was so cute! I loved the pic of Oscar. I would love to see more casual pics of him too. I always liked the ones of Ben and Adam.

I wonder if Ben takes him to the LAPD set. I can't imagine that a rescue dog would enjoy being left alone at home all day.

i forgot he has a dog its such a cute dog he has. if ben dosen't take it on set would't you think that he has some personal clearner etc in his house and they would look after it. i've just got two dogs, i had to get them or it would have ment them going to a dogs home.

we have had pics of ben and adam but they were from a long time ago. i do hope that ben and adam get to see lots of each other as i suspect that they both have realy busy scedules.

I would think he either takes Oscar along and someone watches him while Ben's filming, or as you say, he has a housekeeper who keeps an eye on him. I remember Ben talking about how Oscar just follows him everywhere so I can't imagine the dog would enjoy being separated from Ben for too long!

BTW, Ben got another good review from the Hollywood Reporter for JGHG. Thanks to Mirella at Ben Support for the link. It's awesome that the two main industry publications in Hollywood have both now praised Ben for this role.

I am glad Ben is getting a lot of recognition for this. I read that there were only about 13 people in the theater in NY. I would have thought there would have been a better audience than that. I am hoping there is a bigger crowd when I go to see it.

Yes, it's a shame that the attendance in NY doesn't seem to be very good. I would have thought it would be higher than that. I am sure the crowd will be bigger when you go, especially as you pointed out that the director is from your area.

I thought New York would have had a decent crowd. I am thinking we should have a decent crowd. I haven't seen anything about anyone doing question and answers afterwards. The theatre really didn't know anything when I ordered my tickets though or the other few times I called trying to buy them.

I think this film will probably do a lot better once it's released on DVD. It's a shame the attendances aren't that good so far, but it is quite a difficult film for a theatrical release. I checked one of the box office sites and it's not even registering. At least Ben's reviews have been nearly all positive which will hopefully lead to some greater opportunities for him.

I think they will be. IMO it's the sort of film that people would prefer to have on DVD and watch at home. Plus, I think that once LAPD starts (crosses fingers for official news of a mid-season pick-up) there will be a lot of new interest in Ben from people who never bothered with The OC, and they will probably be interested in seeing the more serious stuff like JGHG and Junebug.

Yes, it really is a very limited release and I think a lot of the showings are a bit too far for most fans to travel, but I am still surprised that NY isn't doing so well. I was very impressed that two fans went over from the UK to the Austin premiere though. That is dedication for you!

I am sure you will never live it down if you and Rick are the only ones there. I know I'd never be allowed to forget it!! So, you've persuaded him to go with you? I hope he'll be impressed, like the husband of one of the NY fans. He seemed to enjoy it OK.

No I will never live it down, but I think he will really enjoy it secretly but will try not to tell me it was worth it just b/c Ben was in it. He thinks I am nuts with my Ben obsession.
