MacGyver is an unknown quantity at this point
MacGyver

I am a huge fan of this show as you can probably tell. I'm hoping there might be some other fans out there?
If so, do you have any favorite episodes, a favorite season?

i was at my dad's house and he gets some channel that plays old eps of this show like 24-7. doesn't interest him at all. but i was sitting there on the couch and i couldn't bring myself to leave. i forgot i much i enjoyed the show (and how cheesy/outdated the show was) but it was great

"Saw" Creator James Wan in Talks to Direct 'MacGyver' Movie

Saw creator James Wan is currently in talks with New Line Cinema about potentially helming a movie adaptation of the iconic '80s TV series MacGyver.

Wan is currently in post-production on New Line's horror-thriller The Conjuring and is riding a wave of success from the well-received 2011 horror flick Insidious.

Variety reports that no plot details have emerged as New Line is still early in the process of piecing the film together, though they do have a script that was written by Jason Richman (Bangkok Dangerous), which was recently worked over by Brian and Mark Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island).

No word if Richard Dean Anderson will be involved in the project. Anderson will turn 63 in January.

Are you interested in a MacGyver movie? Does your interest in this project hinge on whether Anderson is involved? Would James Wan be your preferred choice for director?
