Project Runway- the LifeTime Season #1

Did anybody catch the promos for the new season yet on Lifetime?
I was watching a Will & Grace rerun and was bowled over by the awesome production value of the short intros that gave background on some of the aspiring designers.

New Season starts August 20th.
Start the Count Down!!!!!!!!!!

BEST NEWS EVER (so far):

LIFETIME channel is on COMCAST ON DEMAND so if you missed it or want to watch it again/share with friends, you can, over & over & over again.

BRAVO is does NOT have an ON DEMAND channel. I've always wanted Project Runway to be available for unlimited repeat viewing, like Rupaul's Drag Race was on LOGO.

I was disapppointed with the winner of the All-Star Challenge.

The designer they sent home was frickin NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about Space Cadet!

I completely loved the designer they choose as the winner.

The garment created was in my top 3. Although this person may have problems in the future because of lack of formal training & skills knowledge, it's a good start.

Overall, there is some talent. It was just great to see the old crew.

Gotta admit, during the All-Star episode, the judges panel looked awful, lethargic and depressed. I wonder if it was from all the legal crap and indecision?

But by the time the new season was taped, everybody was back in tip top shape. Especially Heidi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn woman, no wonder Seal keeps tapping that tush......

(Somebody else please start commenting.

I sooooooooo want to rant about a few knuckleheads on the show. I'm trying to be coy and patient but it's not working for me!)

The winner proved he was trash on the 'meet the models' show that followed the episode. He went into the room full of models and made fun of the loser - he said Ari was from another planet. AFter he left, Ari came in and was very nice and friendly to the models.

Very unprofessional to trash your fellow competitors. Of course there is no problem with me trashing him.

I can't stand crybaby muffin top recovery meth addict - didn't he talk to his sponsor about coming on this show. Wah! Wah! Wah!!!!

This will be a fun year. Lohan looked sober, I guess they taped in the early morning. Her comments seemed lucid and on track.

The "winner" of the 1st challenge wasn't my 1st chocie, I preferred the long sweeping champagne colored gown but that garment got no mention at all. It's disappointing to hear what an

the winning guy was but it makes sense; MEANING- he did seem very insecure in the workroom so all his posturing & boasting is probably just to hide his own fear and self-doubt.

I didn't/not interested in watching the PR Model show. It just looks like left over footage from the editor's cutting floor to me.

I know it's not politically correct or it just may seem mean but that addiction recovery guy should NOT be on the show. I have always stated in my rants that anybody suffering from any mental or emotional illness/problem should NOT be on a reality show, especially NOT a competition where you are constantly judged/evaluated/stressed out/manipulated/sequestered!!!!
Good Lord!

It's a crazy premise that almost always makes sane people nuts so to go in already disturbed is just- DANGEROUS. Where are this guy's sponsor/therapist/family/friends!?!?

He may be talented but why waste a good opportunity if he's not ready to handle the challenge?
And I did wonder for a little bit if this guy was using his addiction breakdown to get sympathy/gentle criticism from Tim and the other judges. Will any of the other designers feel upset with him? Will those designers be presented as bullies?
Personally, I disliked his red red carpet dress with the heavy uneven drapes and bland detailing. Other designers have made better prettier sexier dresses and got blasted by the judges just because the dress was red like the carpet!

I didn't buy anything the panel said about his dress.

Coffybaby: I felt the SAME Way!

I thought if you're an addict then a super Stressful reality show isn't for you!

But then I thought that they are SO monitored they can't get books (a conflict in one of the seasons) so maybe it wouldn't be too bad.

Again, though, if he was my family member I wouldn't encourage him to be on a high profile show.

I hope he leaves soon only because I hope the stress won't hurt him.
