I can't believe I forgot it was tonight! I'll have to catch it on re-runs. Thanks so much for the reminder! I'm soooo looking forward to it. While I liked the Masters, I expected they would do good . . . and they did. The regular Top Chef is fun because you never know their true level of competance.

No spoiler, just a little rant.
![]() It was great but as usual there are so many damn newbies that I could barely keep track of who was who & who cooked what. I think the person who was sent home kind of sabotaged himself/herself. And the attitude didn't help. I thought somebody else who appeared more clueless was going home but then that one with the attitude put his/her foot in the mouth and Tom Coolichio seemed like he wasn't having any of that shit! ![]() (you like my mysterious comments? Didn't want to give out too much scoop to soon. Until next week.....) |

I loved 'bad jew' and her bacon 5 ways. The complex shrimp and peas girl has got to go. That chili relleno looked nasty - I hate Sateine, my vegan friend eats it all the time. Why would you cook with that crap unless you have Zooey Deschanel on your guest list?
The two brothers are hot. Mattin is a little cutie but i'm sure his accent and his stupid-ass red ascot will get on my nerves. I don't like the little fat boy from Atlanta with the chunky glasses. He's too arrogant and barrel chested. |

Okay, I still haven't watched it. I know, I'm slacking.
I do have to say that I don't like brothers being on any more than I liked the lesbian lovers being together. I worst and hardest part of being on a reality show is being away from friends and family. In both instances, these people have a leg up on everyone else. |

As much as I love to support my fellow gays and lesbians, the lesbian with the hair that looks like the overgrown armpit (what IS her name) really got on my nerves tonight.
All that whining about not wanting to do a wedding challenge because gays and lesbians can't get married really got on my nerves. She played into every stereotype about the humorless issue-laden lesbian. I mean, come on! Get over it and focus on your food. Wah! |

First, I don't care about orientation. But I agree, when it becomes stereotyped that's when I hate it. And I think that's what you're complaining about.
Personally, I hate ALL stereotypes. I don't care what the color/gender/orientation/religion/diagnosis (I work w/'disabilities') it is. Let's all be human first. Okay, off my soapbox. |

I did finally watch the entire episode. I thought she complained too much about weddings.
In her defense, though, I wonder if every single time she said something about it they edited it to the final version. Over 14 hours she might have said it twice, but when we watch it in less than 50 minutes it seems like a continual rant. Of course, in her shoes, I'd probably complain, too. I am married legally but hate the whole huge wedding thing. We went to the Justice and got it done without fuss. |

anybody else put pollyanna03 on their IGNORE LIST????
![]() ![]() ![]() ANYWAY... There are so many cooks, I'm just watching the competition. Nobody has really stood out to me yet. When the number of chefs goes down, then I can kvetch more. But there are definitely some talented cooks and some wifty woo hoos. Last edited by CoffyBaby; 09-09-2009 at 06:26 PM. Reason: forgot something |

Okay I'm watching from Canada so I think we're a few episodes behind (Hector was sent home last night so not too sure how far behind we are??)
Anyhow - does anyone else think that Michael Voltaggio looks like Tony Hawk? I keep saying it to my husband!! Dead ringer! |
